India Capitals

Gautam Gambhir, Rajat Bhatia, and Pankaj Singh are the only Indian players in a team called the India Capitals! Also, apart from Gambhir, they are hardly legends. Still, we are not here to comment on the state of team names but to assess their strengths. 

India Capitals looks quite weak on paper. They have Gautam Gambhir and Jacques Kallis as the players to lead their batting while the bowling will feature Mitchell Marsh, Farveez Maharoof, and Liam Plunkett. The bowling lineup is not too bad but we worry about their batting capabilities. 

They also have Denesh Ramdin, Ravi Bopara, and Hamilton Masakadza as the players that have recently retired and can make a contribution.

Gujarat Giants

The Gujarat Giants are going to be led by Virender Sehwag, a man that is probably still going to smash boundaries from the very start! He is also going to have Chris Gayle (currently active in cricket), Lendl Simmons (was playing till a few months back), and Kevin O'Brien (was playing till last year).

With a number of other decent batters in the squad as well, we think the Gujarat Giants certainly have the stronger batting team. 

Stuart Binny, Joginder Sharma, Mitch McClenaghan, Ajantha Mendia, and Daniel Vettori are the bowlers that are likely to play for the Gujarat Giants in this match.
