Thailand Women have certainly put in a spirited performance and while they'll be satisfied with the way they have done up until now, they would want to go further. Not many expected them to qualify for the semis and now that they have, they have certainly announced themselves in international cricket. They were pretty poor in their earlier outing against India and would want to do a lot better here.
At the end of the league stage, they finished at the fourth spot with six points from six games. They won three matches and lost three. While their wins were pretty close, the margins of their losses were quite high, emphasizing that they were not as dominating as they would have wanted to be. A win here will shrug all that off, but it is not going to be easy.
On paper, Thailand Women have done a pretty good side with an excellent bowling attack. Their batting has not been as good as they would have wanted and will really need to play out of their skins. It would certainly be an experience for Thailand Women, regardless of whether they win or not, and they'll want to make it count. If they are able to play to their potential, they will be in business big time.

India Women may have been one of the best sides of the tournament thus far, their campaign was full of ups and downs. They were excellent right through the tournament but the loss at the hands of Pakistan Women would have stung them. They then defeated Thailand Women massively and that will give them confidence to play similarly once again. They will have to be careful though that they are not complacent here.
At the end of the league stage, India finished at the top of the points table with ten points to their name and an exceptionally good net run-rate. They were dominant right through and the loss against Pakistan Women pretty much acted as a wake-up call. They will be pretty confident of doing well here but any mistakes can cost them big time in this high-pressure match.
On paper, India Women have an immaculately balanced side that has done an exceedingly good job. They did well against England Women and continued their winning run in the Asia Cup as well. They are certainly a lot better on paper as compared to Thailand Women and will want to show that one the field as well. If they are able to play to their potential here, it should be a walk in the park for them.
