Bangladesh has been brilliant throughout the tri-series in Ireland. Not only has it beaten West Indies, twice already, but it is showing signs of maturity that bode very well for the ICC World Cup 2019. Ireland has not been as good although it too has had some good moments to savor. This will be the last group match before the finals and Ireland will be hoping to get itself a win for sure.
The first group match between Ireland and Bangladesh was rained out so this will be their first meeting in the tri-series. The result is of no consequence since Bangladesh and Ireland are confirmed to play in the final against each other, however, we are sure that Bangladesh would not want to lose this match under any circumstances.
If Ireland does manage to win then this is going to be an excellent result on which to build on.
Ireland was completely dismantled by the West Indies in the first match but it gave a much better account of itself in the next match. Ireland made 327 and gave the West Indies a real fright. In the end, the Irish bowling was not good enough to get the side a win but the batting definitely came through.
Now, Ireland will be targeting an upset against Bangladesh. It is not going to be an easy task as Bangladesh has shown in the series so far. Not only will Ireland need another very good batting performance but its bowling will have to rise to a level that we have not seen so far.
Paul Stirling and Andrew Balbirnie played very good innings in the previous match. Both these players, especially Stirling, are form players. They make the most of their good form and score runs in consecutive matches. Their confidence will be sky high and they will fancy themselves against the Bangladeshi attack.
Kevin O’Brien and Mark Adair also made some important runs in the previous match. Ireland will be hoping for another match where more than one player can contribute in a meaningful manner.
The Irish bowling has been very poor this series. They have been unable to stop the opposition from scoring against them at will. The Bangladeshi batting has been consistent and it is not going to be easy for the Irish bowlers to improve their showing.
Boyd Rankin took three wickets in the previous match and can maybe be the biggest threat in this match as well. His pace, bounce, and high arm action can cause some disconcerting bounce. The Bangladeshi batsmen may be forced into error through some accurate short-pitched bowling.
PR Stirling, James McCollum, Andy Balbirnie, WTS Porterfield, Kevin O'Brien, Mark Richard Adair, GC Wilson, George Dockrell, WB Rankin, Barry McCarthy, Joshua Little.
Bangladesh is ticking all the boxes in this Ireland tri-series. It has played cricket like a senior cricketing nation and is showing that the gains that it has made are sustainable even outside the subcontinent. Now, after having beaten the West Indies in two matches, Bangladesh will be confident of making short work of Ireland.
The Bangladeshi batting has been in good form and almost all of their senior players have contributed. Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, and Soumya Sarkar have all been in the runs. They will all be lining up to the make the most against the weakest bowling attack in this series.
There may actually be a case for sending Mohammad Mithun and Sabbir Rahman a bit up the order so that they can get into the groove ahead of the final as well.
The current Bangladesh batting lineup is very strong and can give a strong fight to any ODI side across the world. We don’t think they are going to be bothered too much by the Irish bowlers.
Mustafizur Rahman roared back into form against the West Indies in the previous match. He is an important cog for Bangladesh heading into the final as well as the ICC World Cup 2019. Abu Jayed, Mashrafe Mortaza, Shakib AL Hasan, Mehidy Hasan, and some useful overs from Soumya Sarkar make Bangladesh’s bowling very impressive as well.
It is easy to see the gain that Bangladesh has made over the last couple of years. It is no longer in the same category as Ireland and outclasses this current West Indian squad quite comfortably as well.
Tamim Iqbal, Liton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Mashrafe Mortaza, Sabbir Rahman, Rubel Hossain, Abu Jayed, Mosaddek Hossain, Mohammad Saifuddin.
The team winning the toss is likely to want to bat first. The batting conditions have been good here and teams have preferred to set the total so far.

Ireland vs Bangladesh ODI Ireland tri-series is going to be played at the Clontarf Cricket Club Ground, Dublin. The weather forecast for Dublin is quite good. There is very little chance of rain and we should have a complete game possible.
The pitch at the Clontarf Cricket Club is flat and excellent for batting. It was the venue where the West Indies broke the batting records in the first match of this series. We are sure of seeing another batting paradise where both the teams should be able to set a big score.
The Dream11 team for Ireland vs Bangladesh is made while trying to anticipate any team changes. In case we get something wrong, we make changes and update the team on twitter. Follow @cricketbettings for the latest updates.
Wicketkeeper: The choice here is between Mushfiqur Rahim and Gary Wilson. We have chosen Mushfiqur Rahim because we don't think he is going to be rested for this match. Rahim is in good form and is a much better batsman than Gary Wilson.
Batsmen: We have picked four batsmen for this match. Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, William Porterfield, and Andrew Balbirnie are the four players we have picked. All of these players are top-order batters. The trend so far in the tournament has been for big scores, especially against Ireland. The inability of the Irish bowlers to take too many wickets could make the opportunities available to the Bangladeshi middle order lesser.
All-rounders: We have picked our maximum allowable quota of three all-rounders in the side. Shakib Al Hasan, Paul Stirling, and Mark Adair. Both Shakib and Stirling are among the best batters of their side and bowl quite decently too. Mark Adair is a young Irish player that is very handy with the bat in the end overs.
Bowlers: We have stuck to the tried and tested bowlers for this Dream11 team. Mustafizur Rahman picked up four wickets in the previous match and is in good form, Tim Murtagh is a reliable bowler for Ireland, while Abu Jayed is one of the more impressive fast bowlers to emerge from Bangladesh in recent times.
Captain and Vice-Captain: We have picked Tamim Iqbal as captain and Paul Stirling as vice-captain for this match.
Bangladesh holds all the aces going into this contest. It does not have to worry about qualification, all of its senior batsmen are in form, and the bowling attack is the best we have ever seen from this side. Ireland has to hope for some sustained brilliance from its batsmen and then a bowling performance better than we have seen from them in a long long time. We don’t think that is likely to happen.
