The Jaffna Kings captain Thisara Perera will be confident while leading his side in this game. Perera will be expecting his team to keep the momentum going in this match and pick up their third title in a row. Jaffna will be looking to get off to a good start from their openers Avishka Fernando and Rahmanullah Gurbaz. These openers are capable of playing a decisive role on the day.

The Jaffna Kings have Sadeera Samarawickrama, Dunith Wellalage, and Afif Hossain in their middle order. The team management will be hoping for a great performance from these batters that have done a good job for them throughout the competition. Perera himself and Shoaib Malik are both good finishers and the side will be expecting some big hits from these batters toward the end of the innings. As far as the Jaffna bowling attack is concerned, the team will be eyeing a great start from Perera and Binura Fernando.

The Colombo Stars outfit is going into this game with a strong batting order, especially at the top of the order. But the Stars led by Angelo Matthews did a good job in the playoffs and they are going into this game with a 6-wicket victory against Kandy Falcons. They are going up against much stronger opposition in this game and the Colombo captain will be looking to get all the players to fire in this crucial fixture to bag the first title for the Colombo.

The start of the Colombo Stars team will be in the hands of the likes of Dinesh Chandimal and Nishan Madushka. These batters are up against an experienced and in-form bowling attack from Jaffna. The middle order has Ravi Bopara and Charith Asalanka in it who have done a good job in the competition. These batters will be looking to add some quick runs to the total together with Dominic Drakes. The presence of Matthews adds a lot of firepower to the batting line-up. He has to perform well together with Seekkuge Prasanna and Binny Howell in this match.

Kasun Rajitha is in prime form with the ball and he bowled well in the last match. He will be handling the new ball with Suranga Lakmal and will look to pick up wickets and make early inroads in the Jaffna Kings' batting order to put pressure on them.
