We have a more traditional semi-final and then final approach to look forward to in the Dream11 ECS Stockholm 2020 competition. The frenetic group stages are over and the four teams that have qualified are all well-deserving of their places.
In the first semi-final, we have the leaders of the group stage, The Kista Cricket Club taking on the fourth-placed Sigtuna Cricket Club. Sigtuna had a poor last day in the group stage while Kista Cricket Club had a dream run. These contrasting manners of qualification could affect the confidence of the two teams.
KCC vs Sigtuna CC ECS Stockholm 2020 is going to be played at the Marsta Cricket Club, Stockholm on the 19th of June 2020.
Kista Cricket Club played its most recent match against Sigtuna CC and won that with 38 runs. That is a huge margin in T10 cricket and showed just how much superior Kista CC was to Sigtuna.
Now, Kista CC will look to repeat that dose.
The batting effort in that match, and the tournament as a whole, has been very good. Zubair Abbas, Chandan Khatri, and Aleem Siddiqi are the three batsmen that are going to be in focus for this match once again.
Interestingly, Zubair Abbass and Chandan Khatri are also the leading bo0wlers of the side. Muhammad Asif, Pankaj Kaul, and Arif Zaidi all come together to round out an excellent bowling attack.
KCC has lost just one out of its six matches. It is the easy favorite going into this match especially after the manner in which it crushed Sigtuna CC.
Arif Zaidi, Aleem Muhammad Siddiqi, Junaid Azam, Nasir Khan, Zubair Abbas, Muhammad Asif, Maqoos Badar, Fashahid Shah, Chandan Khatri, Pankaj Kaul, Shahid Nawaz.
Sigtuna CC had a very poor day leading up to this semi-final. It was not able to keep the high level of performances that we had seen from it on the days before. There are two reasons why this may have happened. The first is that Sigtuna suffered a sudden drop in form or the other that Sigtuna CC took advantage of playing against weaker teams and is just not that good in the first place.
The second option is more telling because it shows us the limits of Sigtuna CC.
We believe that the truth is somewhere in the middle. Sigtuna CC has two excellent batsmen in its side in Muhammad Rehman and Qurban Ali. Both of these batsmen are capable of scoring runs against any opposition. If they can find a way to be just a bit more circumspect than in previous games, they will give Sigtuna a chance to win for sure.
Sigtuna was up against a big total the previous time they played against Kista CC. This is where the bowlers have to step up to try and keep the runs down. Ahmed Ejaz and Adnan Raza are the two bowlers we think can come back stronger and have some impact on the outcome of the match.
Qurban Ali, Raja Azhar Mahmood, Adnan Raza, Muhammad Rehman, Arshpreet Singh, Zulfiqar Kiyani, Adil Mahmood Afzal, Ataullah Safi, Faisal Azeem, Shahzaib Hassan, Osama Saleem.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first. Chasing has not been the forte of any of the teams in this tournament so far.

Another excellent day has been forecast in Stockholm for the ECS Stockholm 2020 Finals Day. We should not have any rain-related interruptions as per the current prediction. The pitch remained exactly how it has been throughout, which is slow and a bit favoring the bowlers. The outfield was noticeably quicker now that the moisture has dried up.
Scores of around 90-100 are going to be tough to chase down, although not impossible.
We think Kista CC has shown itself to be a superior team than Sigtuna CC consistently. The only real risk that they face is against the batting of Muhammad Rehamn and Qurban Ali. We think Kista CC’s bowling should be able to do the trick.
Bet on Kista CC to win.
