CSA T20 Challenge has been a strange sort of tournament thus far with most of its matches being washed out due to rain. This, however, has been a blessing in disguise for the teams that racked up points in the earlier half of the tournament. Dolphins and Knights are two teams placed at the bottom of the points table and they both will be looking to register a win and maintain their chances to qualify for the next round. The two teams are set to lock horns at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein on Wednesday, 24th April.
As was the case for them in the recently concluded Momentum One Day Cup, the Knights are finding it very difficult to stay afloat in the tournament. While Dolphins have a win to their name, the Knights are yet to taste success in this edition of CSA T20 Challenge 2019. The rain hasn't helped them either with both of their last two matches being washed out due to rain.
On paper and as was the case in the fifty over format, the Knights are clearly more reliant on their bowling as compared to their batting. They lack an experienced power-hitter in their batting unit, but their lethal bowling unit has often bailed them out of difficult situations up until this tournament.
They have Patrick Kruger, Raynard van Tonder, and Grant Mokoena as their top-three batters, none of whom are known to be as established as any of the batsmen available for the Dolphins. On the bowling front, however, with Eddie Leie, Ryan McLaren, and Shadley van Schalkwyk available, they have one of the better bowling attacks in the tournament.

It's been a mixture of ill-luck and poor performance which is to be blamed for Dolphins' poor position in the points table. They are currently placed at one spot from the bottom and desperately need a win to stay afloat in the competition. Out of the seven matches played, the Dolphins have won only one and have faced loss in three games with the remaining matches washed out due to rain.
Their batting lineup on paper does not really justify the position they're in at the points table. They have a fairly balanced unit with the likes of Morne van Wyk, Cody Chetty, Khaya Zondo, and Andile Phehlukwayo in their lineup. The presence of South-African all-rounder certainly lends balanced to their side and he is likely to play a key role for the Dolphins on Wednesday.
Apparently, the Dolphins have lacked the much-needed firepower in their batting lineup in their last few matches in the tournament. Their bowling, however, looks fully packed with Keshav Maharaj, Prenelan Subrayen doing exceedingly well along with Andile Phehlukwayo.

Considering the lineups of the two sides, it is clear that they both have different strengths and weaknesses. While the Knights are heavily reliant on their bowlers to do the business, the Dolphins rely more on their top-order batsmen. It's going to be a superb battle between Knight's bowling and Dolphins's batting and the result of which might also well govern the result of the match. The Dolphins are definitely a better-balanced side and enter the upcoming match as firm favorites.
