T20 can be a very funny game. The Titans made 2016 runs in their allotted 20 overs but ended up on the losing side as the Warriors made 60 for no loss after 6 overs in a DLS adjusted chase. The Warriors will now try to capitalize on their good fortune as they take on the Knights, a side that has lost its opening match pretty convincingly to the Dolphins.
The Knights struggled to get any sort of momentum in their inning in their opening fixture and will need to lift their game dramatically against the Warriors. As far as the Warriors go, they may have come out winners but will know that their bowling performance was below-par.
Quite a lot for both teams to ponder then.
A strange and sputtering batting performance from the Knights led to their defeat in the opening match. Patrick Kruger and Aubrey Swanepoel played some attractive shots and helped their side get to 36 from 4.4 overs but that was the end of the intent we go to see from the Knights.
Rudi Second, Petrus van Biljon, and the all-rounders were all unable to get the big hits to try and propel the Knights to a more competitive total. It looks like now that the Knights must hope for a big score from one of their openers to set the tone.
Swanepoel, Second, and van Biljon are the batsmen that we are looking towards to try and make a telling contribution in this match.
The bowling performance by the Knights was a little bit better than the batting performance. Shadley van Schalkwyk and Eddie Leie kept a check on the scoring rate and ratcheted up the pressure on the batsmen. This eventually led to wickets and even though the Knights never got into a winning position, 20 more runs could have seen them really compete.
This kind of bowling performance and some more support from bowlers like Ryan McLaren and Corne Dry will help the Knights in their forthcoming match.

A single bruising inning from Gihahn Cloete was enough to get the Warriors off to a winning start in the CSA T20 Challenge. The Warriors are having a good domestic season and are definitely one of the stronger contenders in this tournament as well.
The side often seems to punch above its weight and makes the most of the resources at its disposal.
In this match against the Knights, the Warriors would want their senior players like Gihahn Cloete, Jj Smuts, Matthew Breetzke, and Marco Marais to step up once again. The Warriors batting is pretty untested right now because no one apart from Cloete had too much to do in the previous match.
The players that we named have enough talent and experience to be able to step up and deliver, though.
The bowling performance from the Warriors was lacking in discipline during their opening match. Bowlers like Andrew Birch, Lutho Sipamla, and Sisanda Magala did not perform up to expectations. Almost all the bowlers were hit around the park with some of the most brutal treatment borne by Jade de Klerk.
The skipper JJ Smuts is also a very good all-rounder at the domestic level but he could not have much impact with the ball either. The Warriors will recognize that they are up against a much weaker batting opposition than the Dolphins and that will be reflected automatically, however, they must improve their bowling performance as well.
Starting lineup not yet available.
The side winning the toss is likely to want to field first. There is some rain around and DLS always tends to favor the team batting second.

The CSA T20 Challenge match between the Knights and the Warriors is going to be played at the Diamond Oval, Kimberley. The weather has been quite foul in Kimberley off late with rain on most days. The current weather pattern suggests that we might get lucky since the match is scheduled on one of the few days where very little rain is expected.
The pitch at the Diamond Oval is a little bit on the slower side, considering South African pitches. There is always a little help for the spinners and fast bowlers who use their cutters effectively. On the whole, though, the groundsman is going to make every effort to provide a good batting surface for both teams.
The Knights and the Warriors are very different teams in their team composition and in terms of the tactics they use. We believe that the Warriors are clearly the better side thanks to their superior batting strength. Neither of the two teams played to its true potential in the previous match and so opportunities to cause an upset may be present.
Back the Warriors to win.
