Chattogram Challengers have gotten off to the best possible start in the Bangladesh Premier League, winning five of seven matches, and are at the top of the points table. Right behind them on the points table are Khulna Tigers and Rajshahi Royals, who are set to take on each other in an upcoming contest of the tournament. Both the sides haven't played a lot of matches as compared to the Challengers and while it will be impossible for both sides to come close to the Challengers, largely due to the number of mathces played, both would like to strengthen their position in the top four sides and inch closer to the top of the latter.
Keeping in mind the number of matches played and the win percentage, Khulna Tigers are the best team in the tournament so far. They have played four matches and have registered wins in three of those. They have a net run-rate of 0.74, which is second only to Rajshahi Royals'.
The Tigers were having a terrific run in the tournament before they met Sylhet Thunder in their last match. Contrary to what most people expected, the Tigers' bowling looked listless against an out-of-form Sylhet batting unit as they conceded a towering total. Barring Robbie Frylinck, who returned with the impressive figures of 37 for 2 in his four overs, all the Tigers bowlers conceded at an economy rate greater than 10.
It was always going to be a steep chase for the Tigers and the loss of Rahmanullah Gurbaz on the first delivery of the second innings made it only tougher. Rilee Rossouw looked good till he lasted, but even his fifty wasn't enough to take Tigers within the touching distance of a win. Robbie Frylinck played a blinder to reduce the deficit, but Sylhet Thunder eventually won the match by 80 runs.

Rajshahi Royals have had a mediocre sort of tournament and will be looking to bounce back to the winning ways. They had a pretty good start to the tournament, winning both of their opening two encounters, but a loss to Khulna Tigers in their last match might act as a wake-up call for them.
The Royals are not too behind the Tigers on the ladder, placed third with four points in three matches. Coincidentally, they are coming off a loss to Khulna Titans, which is the same team that they are going to face tomorrow.
Rajshahi Royals looked pretty settled at the half-way mark with 189 runs on the board, but their bowlers' effort was nothing more than ordinary. Batting first, they got off to a pretty poor start, losing both their openers for 26 runs inside the first five overs. Ravi Bopara and Shoaib Malik played a brilliant hand as they both combined to score over a hundred runs for the fourth wicket after the dismissal of Afif Hossain.
On the bowling front, as many as nine bowlers were used by skipper Andre Russell to keep Tigers quiet, but he wasn't able to get the desired results. With the pressure of captaincy, Andre Russell has looked a mere shadow of himself and it would be interesting to see how he deals with the pressure in the upcoming games.
Liton Das, Alok Kapali, Afif Hossain, Shoaib Malik, RS Bopara, Andre Russell, Nahidul Islam, Farhad Reza, Abu Jayed, Mohammad Irfan, Kamrul Islam.
Check out the Dream11 fantasy lineup for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League match between Khulna Tigers and Rajshahi Royals
Considering that the two teams are placed neck and neck on the points table, this will be an important contest for both the sides. Also, it happened a hard-fought match when the two teams faced off a few days ago and it is likely to be same this time around as well. Comparing the two teams on paper and based on the recent form, Khulna Tigers are better placed to emerge on top in the upcoming fixture.
