KTS vs DOL Team Previews

Khulna Titans

Despite having such a disappointing campaign, it is astonishing to see Knights still in contention for the playoffs. They are last in the points table with just one win seven matches amounting to nine points. With three matches to go, they still have the possibility to ascertain a place in the knockouts, but they'd need to win each of those. Failure in doing so would put their fate in the hands of other sides which is definitely something they don't really want.

A win after being winless for six matches would have been refreshing for the team as well as their fans. Up until then, their batsmen had been failing to complement the hard work done by their bowlers and even though it wasn't done different, their bowlers restricted Warriors to just 122 which was too low a total not to be chased down.

Marchant de Lange Baartman and Ryan McLaren all did exceedingly well and picked up eight wickets between them. Baartman started the proceedings for the Knights with the wicket of JJ Smuts and de Lange and McLaren chipped in thereafter.

Although it was by no means an imposing total, Knights batsmen struggled to get going even with no scoreboard pressure working against them. Kruger, Gous, Petersen, van Bijon, and Mokoena were all dismissed with team's total and 55 and a loss was well and truly within sight before RS Second and Ryan Mclaren bailed them out with an unbeaten 77-run partnership.

Dolphins

Dolphins started off in the competition in a terrific fashion, but as we are moving closer to the playoffs, they are certainly, or at least appear to be, losing some steam. Only twice out of the last four occasions have they managed to finish on top.

Chasing a target of 301 against the Titans in their last match, their batsmen succumbed to the scoreboard pressure as the Dolphins lost the match by a big 70-run margin. Barring their openers who together with a good 55 run partnership, only Makhanya could get going. van Jaarsveld and Makhaya happened to be their top-two batsmen with the respective scores of 52 and 55 runs.

Earlier with the ball, deciding to the ball first after winning the toss, bowlers didn't provide them with the start their captains would have wanted. Vandier and Kuhn were involved in a brilliant 79-run partnership which was followed by another equally good stand - between Dean Elgar and Heino Kuhn. Even though their bowlers pulled it back a little in the final four overs, 301 proved to be a huge total for them.

KTS vs DOL Betting Tips

Knights finally tasted their first success in the competition and they'll be eager to top it up and make a strong case for themselves as far as a spot in top-four is concerned. Dolphins, on the other hand, appear to be a little lost at the moment, but certainly look to be a better side as compared to the Knights, both performance wise and the team on paper. Due to the above-mentioned reasons, the Dolphins certainly are a better side to emerge on top on Sunday.
