The Karnataka Tuskers and Team Abu Dhabi will play their final T10 League match against each other. They have both just won one game so far and have been a bit disappointing in their performances. They would like to end with a win and give their fans something to cheer for.
They may not have any realistic chances of making it to the next stage of the T10 League but winning big and boosting their net run-rate will give them the best chance of sneaking through to the final qualifying position.
Karnataka Tuskers vs Team Abu Dhabi T10 League 2019 is going to be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium on the 21st of November 2019.
The addition of Evin Lewis at the top of the order did not help much as he was out first ball in the previous match. He was the one player that was capable of the kind of explosive inning that is necessary in this format of the game.
We have said this before and will state it again that the Karnataka Tuskers have put together a set of players that are poorly suited for the T10 format. This was proved once again in the previous match as we saw the players shift up and down the batting order to try and get something going.
Hashim Amla, the icon player for the franchise, has not been able to have any lasting impact on the batting and was once again found out quickly. The likes of Johnson Charles, Shafiqullah Shafiq, Ross Whiteley, Ryan Ten Doeschate, and Ahmed Raza is just not good enough to compete consistently at this level.
With a batting order like this, supporters are left hoping for a miracle from one of the batsmen rather than a dependable and consistent set of performances.
The bowling is a bit better on paper but it has also not been to translate that potential into performances. Sandeep Lamichhane, Kesrick Williams, Shapoor Zadran, and Nathan Rimmington have been found lacking when put under extreme pressure and have not been able to go to their death bowling skills quickly enough.
J Charles, WU Tharanga, Shafiqullah, Hashim Amla, Ross Whiteley, RN ten Doeschate, Ahmed Raza, Nathan Rimmington, Patrick Brown, S Zadran, KOK Williams.
A good batting performance from Team Abu Dhabi came to no use as rain washed out their game against the Deccan Gladiators. 118 was a little above par and Abu Dhabi had managed to pick up the wicket of Shane Watson cheaply but Deccan Gladiators had a lot of batting left as well.
Team Abu Dhabi would not have minded the single point they got from the game in the end.
We think the home side has an excellent chance of winning this match against the Karnataka Tuskers. Team Abu Dhabi has four points to its name and can move up to six with a decent net run-rate by winning this last match.
The batting is in decent touch although that one big inning from Moeen Ali or any of the other top-order batsmen is still missing. Avishka Fernando has shown himself to be a brilliant striker of the cricket ball and he is the one that we are going to back in this game as well.
Luke Wright, Wayne Madsen, Lewis Gregory, and Alex Davies are all Englishmen that have struggled in the Abu Dhabi conditions. They must get it right in the final match otherwise they could end up losing to the weakest side in the tournament.
Ben Laughlin has been one of the bowlers of the tournament so far. His economy rate is one of the best and he has been one of the most reliable bowlers we have seen. Hayden Walsh, Merchant de Lange, and Harry Hurney make up the remainder of the bowling attack.
One of the biggest concerns we have with Team Abu Dhabi is their overwhelming reliance on English players.
Avishka Fernando, LJ Wright, Moeen Ali, WL Madsen, Rameez Shahzad, Alex Davies, Marchant de Lange, Hayden Walsh, Ben Laughlin, Harry Gurney, Paras Khadka.

Abu Dhabi should serve up another clear day for uninterrupted cricket as the forecast predicts a clear day. The pitch is going to be a bit slower than what we started with but we have still not seen any noticeable change in the playing surface.
A score of around 110 os par for the surface with 120 also no longer a formidable total.

We think that Team Abu Dhabi should be able to win this game. Both teams are not the strongest but at least Team Abu Dhabi has more players that are suited for the T10 format of the game.
Bet on Team Abu Dhabi to win.
