Nottinghamshire and Lancashire have both played a game just a few hours ago and will be in action again as they take on each other. This is the grind of the T20 Blast and the teams are used to it by now. Both Lancashire and Nottinghamshire are in a good position in the T20 Blast 2019 right now. Lancashire is unbeaten up until now and has all won four matches that were allowed to be completed. Two of its matches were washed away by rain.
Nottinghamshire has also recovered from a slow start and now has three wins in its last four matches to be in the third spot on the North Group table.
Lancashire vs Nottinghamshire T20 Blast 2019 is going to be played at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester, on the 3rd of August 2019.
An excellent bowling performance from Lancashire was the reason why it went past Durham with so much ease. Matthew Parkinson picked up four wickets as Durham could only manage a score of 139. That was never going to be enough against Lancashire’s strong batting especially after Liam Livingstone and Alex Daves got off to another quick start.
Livingstone top-scored with 70 and was only out when the game was near over.
The Lancashire team is an unstoppable juggernaut at the moment. It keeps on finding a way to win despite different kinds of challenges being thrown to it. The reason for this success is the immense balance the team has.
The batting is very strong with players like Glenn Maxwell, Keaton Jennings, Steven Croft, and Dane Vilas in the middle order while the bowling is extremely potent too. Saqib Mahmood, Richard Gleeson, James Croft and a number of all-rounders to chip in as required allow Lancashire plenty of flexibility in its bowling attack.
The trick for the team is going to be to keep the momentum running through a long tournament and not get complacent.
Alex Davies, Liam Livingstone, Steven Croft, Glenn Maxwell, DJ Vilas, KK Jennings, Josh Bohannon, James Faulkner, Saqib Mahmood, Matt Parkinson, Richard Gleeson.
Nottinghamshire is a side on the rise. It has won three out of its last four matches and only lost one that was affected by rain. There is a lot to like about Nottinghamshire’s side and that was apparent during its mauling of the Birmingham Bears.
Nottinghamshire’s strong batting lineup scored 184 after which the bowlers kept Birmingham down to just 113 and won the match by 71 runs. That is a massive margin in 50 over cricket, forget T20 cricket!
Joe Clarke, Alex Hales, Ben Duckett, Tom Moores, Dan Christian, and Imad Wasim form a batting lineup that can stand toe to toe with Lancashire’s. There is plenty of power, depth, and players who can win the match on their own.
The bowling had an exceptional day the last time around and is going to be full of confidence although we don’t think they are going to expect as easy a game against Lancashire. Luke Wood, Samit Patel, Imad Wasim, Harry Gurney, and Dan Christian give Nottingham the kind of bowling attack which has very few weaknesses.
This is an attack which has four international bowlers who are not going to be intimidated by the Lancashire batting lineup and in-fact relish the challenge.
Joe Clarke, AD Hales, Ben Duckett, Tom Moores, DT Christian, SI Wasim, SR Patel, Zak Chappell, Luke Wood, Harry Gurney, Matthew Carter.

Lancashire vs Nottinghamshire T20 Blast 2019 is going to be played at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester. The weather forecast is for a cloudy day but one where the rain should stay away.
The pitch at Old Trafford is excellent for batting and just the kinds you want for a contest between two very strong batting teams. We think a score of around 200 can be expected in this match and even that may not be enough to win.
This is a tough match to call and there should be plenty of opportunities to hedge through in-play betting. At the outset, though, a rate of double the return on Nottinghamshire is too good to pass on and we think it is worth taking the risk. Nottinghamshire is very capable of winning the match against Lancashire and we think you should bet on it.
Bet on Nottinghamshire to win.
