MI Cape Town flexed its bowling muscles in the previous match as it unleashed a fit-again Jofra Archer on the scene. He started with a wicket-maiden and ended with three wickets in his four overs. The pace was back up close to 150 and the rhythm was just brilliant to watch.
He is only going to play two matches this season (because of workload management) and so this could be the last time you see Archer for a while. Sam Curran, Duan Jansen, and Olly Stone all bowled very well to ensure that there were no 'easy overs' to be targeted. Rashid Khan bowled his four overs for 28 without taking a wicket but that has become almost a staple with him nowadays.
MI Cape Town has a predominantly South African batting lineup with Dewald Brevis at its core. Baby AB, as he is called, smacked 70 not out from just 41 deliveries with five hits over the boundary to lead MI Cape Town to victory.
There will be occasions where he fails and that is where the rest of the batting comes in. Rassie van der Dussen, Sam Curran, Ryan Rickelton, and Grant Roelofsen form a handy batting lineup for sure but it is not one that cannot be taken down.

Durban Super Giants
Durban's Super Giants used their spin-bowling resources very well in the previous match and we suspect that could be a strategy that Quinton de Kock follows in this match as well. He used Keshav Maharaj, Akila Dananjaya, and then Prenelan Subrayen very effectively to stifle the scoring rate. Wickets came as a result and allowed the Super Giants to take pole position.
Unfortunately for them, the seamers were quite ineffective. Dwaine Pretorius, Keemo Paul, and Jason Holder did not have much effect and in fact, went for a lot of runs.
The weakness in the bowling attack looks quite obvious and will be hard to fix.
Quinton de Kock started brilliantly with the bat and ended up scoring 78 off 52. However, both he and Mayers struggled against the spinners. Every team in SA 20 would have seen that and will have their off-spinners ready when they come up against them.
Heinrich Klaasen, Wiaan Mulder, Jason Holder, and Dwaine Pretorius form a pretty dangerous middle-order on paper but they were quite ineffective in the previous match. The balance of the Super Giants seems a bit off to us right now and it will take something special for them to be able to win this contest.
