MI Cape Town
MI Cape Town suffered a batting failure in their previous match. They lost Dewald Brevis early and never really recovered. It took some steady batting from Grant Roelofsen and some lusty late hitting from George Linde and Delano Potgieter to get MI Cape Town to 152.
Not having any one of their best three batters (Dewald Brevis, Rassie van der Dussen, and Sam Curran) score was also going to be tough to overcome. MI Cape Town will be hoping that they will come back stronger in this match. While we do expect Bravis and Curran to score runs, van der Dussen has been in a bad patch for quite some time now and his form is a big concern.
Olly Stone picked up four wickets in the previous match and was easily the standout bowler. Curran, Archer, and Rashid all went wicketless which meant that MI did not ever threaten to defend 152 with any seriousness. Kagiso Rabada could come back into the eleven for this match and replace Jofra Archer who is scheduled to play just two matches this season.

Joburg Super Kings
Joburg Super Kings were rolled over for 81 in their previous match. They were actually 36 for 7 at one stage so even 81 looked pretty far off. This is now the second match in which the Joburg Super Kings have lost their top order cheaply. Donavan Ferreira and Romario Shepherd rescued them from the first match but were unable to do so in the second.
Janneman Malan, Reeza Hendricks, Faf du Plessis, and Kyle Verreynne form a strong batting lineup on paper. They are followed by a pretty decent middle-order as well. In their current form, though, the Joburg Super Kings would be super nervous coming up against a strong bowling attack like the one MI Cape Town has.
