MID vs GLO Team Previews
Middlesex
Prior to their last match, Middlesex were in fantastic form, riding on AB de Villiers' and Dawid Malan's excellent form with the bat. Against Sussex Sharks, however, they failed to go ahead with the momentum as they lost the match by four wickets.
Batting first on a good batting surface, none of the Middlesex's stalwarts could get going as they were bundled out for a total of just 127. Had it not been for Stevie Eskinazi and Toby Roland Jones, Middlesex would have seen a lot worse fate, as the rest of their batsmen totaled to just 30 runs.
It was always a difficult total to defend, but Middlesex bowlers tried hard to take the game deep, but eventually proved to be unsuccessful. Nathan Sowter was the pick of the bowlers and kept the Sharks on the backfoot throughout his spell of four overs, but lack of support from their other bowlers allowed the Sharks to get back into the match as they ended up on the right side of the result.
Middlesex Playing 11
PR Stirling, Dawid Malan, Stephen Eskinazi, Eoin Morgan, George Scott, John Simpson, Toby Roland-Jones, Thomas Helm, Nathan Sowter, ST Finn, Mujeeb Ur Rahman.
Gloucestershire
Gloucestershire announced their claim on the playoff spots at they came from the bottom half of the table to the fifth spot with a couple of back to back wins in their last two matches. They are coming off a nail-biting win over Surrey in a rain-affected encounter which they won by DLS method.
Batting first on a decent wicket, Gloucestershire could post only 165 runs on the board on an overcast day. Even though their bowlers could not pick up wickets at regular intervals, tight spells by David Payne coupled with a brilliant over from Tom Smith kept them in the game which they eventually won by nine runs.
In the tournament so far, Gloucestershire have struggled with the bat, but more often than not their bowlers have made up for it. Gloucestershire are now in with a genuine chance to qualify for the playoffs, but for that to happen, their batsmen will have to step up their game, and if they can do that against Middlesex and in the games to follow, it won't be easy to sideline Gloucestershire.
Gloucestershire Playing 11
MAH Hammond, M Klinger, JR Bracey, IA Cockbain, Ryan Higgins, JW Taylor, GLV Buuren, Tom Smith, AJ Tye, DA Payne, CJ Liddle.

MID vs GLO Betting Tips
It's a crucial contest for both the sides with respect to the qualifying scenarios. The winner of this fixture will strengthen its position in the top-four whereas the losing team will have a tough road ahead. With things moving quickly towards the business end of the tournament, two points in this match could prove to be vital. Although the Panthers are coming off a narrow loss, they have a better side on paper with fire-power available right through their batting order and are, therefore, our pick to emerge on top in the upcoming encounter.
