The Multan Sultans have managed to keep the core of their team which has seen so much success in the previous few years. Not only did Multan win all but two of its matches in PSL 2022, but it has also managed to finish in the top-2 for the previous three seasons.
Mohammad Rizwan is perhaps one of the most consistent batters in T20 cricket and will lead the batting once more. He has a lot of support in the batting department with players like Shan Masood, David Miller, Rilee Rossouw, and Tim David in the squad.
They also have a good core of bowlers with Shahnawaz Dahani, Josh Little, Usama Mir, and Ammad Butt all available for selection. The template for the Multan Sultans is quite predictable. They expect Mohammad Rizwan to bat through and back their middle order to get the extra 15 runs needed in the end overs. This is then backed up by a pretty dependable set of bowlers.

When we speak of bowling quality, no team comes close to the Lahore Qalandars. They will be led by a fit-again Shaheen Afridi with support from Haris Rauf, Rashid Khan, David Wiese, Sikandar Raza, and Dilbar Hussain. There are no easy overs and the experience in this bowling lineup is immense.
The batting has to revolve around Fakhar Zaman. He is easily the best T20 batter in the Qalandars lineup who also have Abdullah Shafique, Kamran Ghulam, Sam Billings, and the overseas all-rounders in their lineup. The loss of Harry Brook (international duty) is massive and could affect the balance of the squad.
