The MT Bulls managed to win their first match of the tournament against the Mighty Efate Panters. They will now go up against the Ifira Sharks, a side that they lost to earlier in the Vanuatu T10 League already.
The Ifira Sharka will be playing two games back to back, as has been the case for one team every day of this tournament. The win against the MT Bulls will give them confidence coming into this contest but they would know that something special would be needed to repeat that result the second time around.
MT Bulls vs Ifira Sharks Vanuatu T10 League is going to be played at the Vanuatu Cricket Ground on the 30th of May 2020.
The MT Bulls played their best match of the tournament as they chased down a tough target against the Mighty Efate Panthers. Set 131 to win in a tournament where even 70 has been tough to get was a big ask for the MT Bulls.
Their best batsmen are Andrew Mansale and Clement Tommy, both of whom played very well in the previous match. Tommy scored 50 off just 20 deliveries while Philip Tsione contributed with 21 from ten balls down the order as well.
We have spoked about the strength of the MT Bulls batting earlier in the tournament and so it was good to finally see some evidence of it!
The MT Bulls are going to be full of confidence after their win and will be looking for revenge against the Ifira Sharks.
The bowling department for the MT Bulls is going to have to do better than it has so far. Too many runs seem to be leaking from the bowlers at crucial stages of the game and that is something that has to change for the team to be successful.
Clement Tommy, Nono Chilia, Philip Tsione, Andrew Mansale, Patrick Matautaava, Rival Samson, Damien Chilia, Godfrey Mangau, Darren Wotu, Williamsing Nalisa, Revaldo Teana.
The Ifira Sharks have a tough ask in this match. They managed to beat the MT Bulls in the previous match but chasing down a target of just over 60 also tested them. The Sharks lost six wickets in that small chase and could have easily lost the match with just a few more on the board.
The Ifira Sharks have the weakest batting lineup in the entire tournament. There would be no one that questions that statement and so the onus is going to be on the bowling department to find a way to win.
If the Ifira Sharks are able to do something special with the ball and keep the strong batting order of the MT Bulls under check then they have a shot of winning otherwise we think they are going to be beaten pretty comprehensively in this match.
Bethan Moli, Jamal Vira, William Yamak, Nalin Nipiko, Stephane Sandy, Vince Vira, Obed Yoseph, Apolinaire Stephen, Ambong Rakau, Niko Unavalu, Wolford Kalworai.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first.

The weather seems to be holding up very nicely and we have another great day for cricket being forecast. The pitch has started to slow up a bit, even more than what it was, and so run-scoring could be a bit of a challenge.
Teams that bat first must look to reach 100 to be competitive because trying to get too many could end up being disastrous.
We are advising punters to bet heavily on the MT Bulls in this match. They may have lost to the Ifira Sharks in their earlier encounter but they are an ascending team that is coming in this match after beating the strongest side. Their batting power will overwhelm the Ifira Sharks.
Bet on the MT Bulls to win.
