In the bowling departments, Southee took 2-38 while McClenaghan, Pandya and Harbhajan Singh took a wicket each.
Overall, their batting has improved several folds compared to their performance at the start of the tournament; with good depth in their bowling, Mumbai Indians look raring to go and climb up the table with another win on Sunday.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mustafizur Rahman took 2 wickets each to demolish the Lions’ batting line-up and along with Sran and Henriques, who claimed a wicket each, they restricted the opposition to 126. Against RCB, Warner and Williamson combined well to put up a 124-run partnership for the 2nd wicket and with the help of a smashing 31 off 14 balls from Henriques, SRH posted a gigantic total of 194. The bowlers joined hands to take a wicket each and stifled the Bangalore team from reaching the target thereby leading to a glorious win by 15 runs.
They have gained strength from their recent victories and are determined to keep pushing themselves towards the top four teams; while the batting line-up has strong players like Warner, Dhawan, Williamson and Henriques, the bowling department has experienced seamers like Nehra, B Kumar and Mustafizur Rahman, who can turn the tide in their team’s favour under any situation.
Both teams have climbed up the ranks with consistent winning performance in their recent outings; while Mumbai has shifted recently to its new home turf, SRH is well acquainted with the conditions here. The match could swing either way but we feel Sunrisers are better placed to win the match
