Jan Frylinck has been missing from the squad and that could lend a blow to Namibia’s ability to field another quality all-rounder. The other batsmen, including Van Lingen and Loftie Eaton, haven’t been very consistent. Aasif Sheikh and Rohan Paudel have been the pick of the batsmen in an otherwise underwhelming batting line-up of Nepal, and have scored 481 and 434 runs respectively. Aarif Sheikh and Kushal Bhurtel have got some decent starts but have failed to make a big impact on the proceedings.
As expected, the bowling for Nepal has been heavily reliant on Sandeep Lamicchane, who has picked up 42 wickets from 20 matches. He has received good support from veteran all-rounder Karan KC, who has 37 wickets and 130 runs against his name. Other than them, there is nothing much to write about Nepal’s bowling this season.

The pitch at Windhoek is a balanced one, with both, the batsmen as well as the bowlers, finding some assistance.
