United States Of America

The United States of America cricket team is struggling at the moment. The top order for the team is in the hands of Aaron Jones, Xavier Marshall, and Monank Patel. Akshay Homraj is the wicketkeeper batter for the team and Ian Holland is an all-rounder in the side. The USA bowling attack will be led by their captain Saurabh Netravalkar and he will be helped by the likes of Rusty Theron. Another opening batsman playing in the side for the USA is Steven Taylor.

Batting first they scored 254 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Several batters contributed to the team total such as Lo-handre Louwrens with 57 runs from 105 balls, Stephen Baard with 53 runs from 70 balls, and the skipper Gerhard Erasmus with a superb 87 from 72 balls with 9 fours and one six. Saurabh Netravalkar again was the pick of the bowlers for the USA with a 3-wicket haul from his quota of 10 overs. Cameron Stevenson and Steven Taylor chipped in with a wicket apiece to help their captain during the Namibian innings. The USA batting never really got going. Many batters got settled but failed to convert their starts into big scores. Saiteja Mukkamalla scored 29 runs from 43 balls, Monank Patel hit 30 runs from 26 balls, Jaskaran Malhotra scored 22 runs and Gajanand Singh hit 32 from 51 balls. But the USA effort fell well short of the target in the end.
