NBW vs CH Match Prediction - Feb 03, 2023

We are down to the last couple of matches in the league stage of the Women's Super Smash 2022-23 and the points table and the qualification scenarios are more or less already settled. Having said that, Otago Sparks Women and Auckland Hearts Women will still be fighting for one lone spot in one of the remaining matches.

Up next in the tournament though, we have Northern Brave Women taking on Central Hinds Women in practically a dead-rubber fixture. Both these sides are already out of contention and will just be playing for pride. The match between the two sides is to be played on 3rd February 2023 at the Seddon Park, Hamilton.

NBW vs CH Team Previews

Northern Brave Women

Northern Districts Women have had a terrible run in the tournament so far and although they were at the fourth position at one stage, they have never really been in contention to qualify for the next round. It's been a while since they last registered a win and they are certainly likely to be running low on confidence. Much to their disappointment as well, three of their last five matches were either abandoned completely or midway.

As it currently stands on the ladder, they are placed at the fifth spot with 10 points to their name and a poor net run-rate of -0.867. While a win here will not push them through, it would be good to provide them relief after a rather poor tournament. They have a decent side on paper, although a tad inexperienced, but if they can play to their potential, getting past them could prove to be pretty difficult.

Central Hinds Women

Central Hinds Women have undoubtedly been the poorest performing team in the tournament and the numbers are pretty good evidence of that. In the tournament so far, they have played nine games in total and have won none so far. They are consequently placed at the very bottom on the points table with a terrible net run-rate of -1.123.

In addition to having a rather weak side on paper, they have really missed out on execution and that's what has caused them to do so poorly. They would want to step up their game in this final match and if they can do that, Northern Brave Women could very well have their work cut out.

NBW vs CH Betting Tips

This may not be an important match in the larger scheme of things, both sides would still want to register a win here - primarily for their fans. Both sides would want to register a win here to close out their campaigns and it is going to be a cracker of a contest. Considering the on-paper combinations of the two sides and their form thus far, we would be placing our money on Northern Brave Women and so should you.
