Nottinghamshire is going to be taking on Yorkshire in this T29 Blast 2019 match as the action continues. Yorkshire has been very bad this season and is out of the running for a spot in the T20 Blast playoffs. Just two wins from its seven completed matches show the kind of struggle it has had to endure this season.
Nottinghamshire is in a much better position than Yorkshire and is currently in third place in the North Group. A win here will see it move to second and pretty secure in its quest to move on in the tournament.
Nottinghamshire vs Yorkshire T20 Blast 2019 is going to be played at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on the 25th of August 2019.
Nottinghamshire flexed its batting muscles in the previous match as it chased down a total of 162 with seven wickets in hand. Runs for Alex Hales, Ben Duckett, and Daniel Christan helped make the task a mere formality.
We love the look of this Nottinghamshire team and think it could be one serious contender for the title.
There is a lot of batting power and depth in this lineup. Joe Clarke, Tom Moores, Samit Patel, and Jake Libby are some of the batsmen that are also a part of the Nottinghamshire batting lineup. The batsman that is going to most important for this closing stretch of matches is Alex Hales.
The T20 World Cup is coming up and he is going to want to make a deep impression in the selectors to win his place in the England squad.
The bowling is quite balanced thanks to the availability of so many all-rounders. Samit Patel, Daniel Christian, Jake Ball, Harry Gurney, and Matthew Carter are all very good T20 bowlers that can be versatile in their use too.
AD Hales, Joe Clarke, Ben Duckett, Jake Libby, Tom Moores, DT Christian, SR Patel, Luke Fletcher, Matthew Carter, Luke Wood, Harry Gurney.
With nothing to lose (or to gain for that matter), Yorkshire can be a very dangerous opponent. It has some very good T20 batsmen in its side that have not been able to make the most of their chances in this season of the T20 Blast.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Adam Lyth, and Jonathan Tattersall are excellent players t have in your top-3. We don’t understand the obsession with sending David Willey at number three in almost every match that they have played. It has been two years since David Willey made those centuries at number three.
He is now a known quantity and oppositions see him as an easy wicket.
There are some issues with the lack of batting depth in Yorkshire but that is not something the team can do much about at this stage of the tournament.
Tim Bresnan, Keshav Maharaj, David Willey, and at least four other bowling options in the Yorkshire side should have been enough to get them more wins. That has not happened although we would not blame the bowlers for this debacle.
They have been doing the best they can with the tough positions they have been put in.
Adam Lyth, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, David Willey, Jonathan Tattersall, Jack Leaning, Will Fraine, TT Bresnan, Jordan Thompson, K Maharaj, MW Pillans, Jack Shutt.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first

Nottinghamshire vs Yorkshire T20 Blast 2019 is going to be played at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on the 25th of August 2019. The weather forecast for Nottingham is quite good and rain should not be a problem in this match.
Trent Bridge is back to being one of the best batting pitches in the world and the batsmen are going to love their time here. A score of around 200 may be the minimum that teams will look for batting first.
We think Nottinghamshire has the better side thanks to its stronger batting and the quality all-rounders giving it flexibility. They should be able to win this match at home.
Bet on Nottinghamshire to win.
