New Zealand and England started the T20 series a bit tentatively but it was England that emerged victorious (https://www.onlinecricketbetting.net/cricket-betting-tips/nz-vs-eng-01-nov-2019/). This most recent win makes it six in its last six T20 internationals for England and puts it in a good position to try for a series win.
New Zealand made some poor choices when it came to the batting and suffered because its powerful top-order could not get going. More urgency and some possible changes to the squad may be in store ahead of the next match.
England has come into this series looking to experiment and the team management has stated its intention to give every squad member a game so there could be some changes there as well.
New Zealand vs England 2nd T20 2019 is going to be played at the Westpac Stadium, Wellington on the 3rd of November 2019.
A poor start to an important home summer for New Zealand has put the hosts on the back foot. Another loss in this match and they are looking at three straight victories to try and win the T20 series against England.
The obvious blame is going to go on the batsmen. Martin Guptill got out off a half-tracker, Colin Munro and Tim Siefert threw away their wickets after getting set, and Colin de Grandhomme seemed intent on making poor choices one after the other.
It was also strange to see Ross Taylor come into bat after Colin de Grandhomme.
New Zealand needs Martin Guptill and Colin Munro to start firing big otherwise its middle order is always going to be under pressure. We like Tim Siefert’s role at number three and even Daryl Mitchell appeared to be a very clean striker of the cricket ball.
The batting order may get a slight shake-up in the second T20 but the combination is likely to remain the same.
The bowling lineup is where we think there is some scope for improvement.
Ish Sodhi and Scott Kuggeleijn appeared to be underwhelming and were picked off quite easily by the English batsmen. Tim Southee was out of form as well but since he is the captain, he is not going anywhere soon. Blair Tickner and Jimmy Neesham may be two players that get an opportunity in the next match. It would add a little bit of variety to the attack and help add some hitting power as well.
New Zealand is ranked 6th in the T20 rankings and there is a reason for that. Its players are talented but are currently not gelling together as a unit. The side needs a big batting score from its top-order badly.
Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Tim Seifert, Colin de Grandhomme, Ross Taylor, Daryl Mitchell, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner, TG Southee, IS Sodhi, Lockie Ferguson.
An excellent start to the T20 series shown just how much talent England has at its disposal these days. Its bowling was very impressive and never let the Kiwis get away at any time of the match. Pat Brown made a very impressive debut and we are certain he will end up with better figures at some point during this series.
Chris Jordan and Adil Rashid continued their roles as the premier T20 bowlers for England.
The Curran brothers were very good at the start as well although we though Sam Curran tapered off a bit as the ball got older. There may be room to try out Saqib Mahmood in his place considering the amount of batting depth that England has.
Lewis Gregory played the opening match after Denly was injured and did not bowl but he can easily get a few overs in as well.
England also has the option of playing Matt Parkinson as the spinner ahead of Rashid but that may not happen till later in the tournament. We were surprised to see Tom Banton being left out of the side for Dawid Malan and hope to see him in the playing eleven sooner rather than later as well.
Malan may get another crack at the top of the order because it is going to be quite harsh on him to be dropped after just one match.
James Vince, Eoin Morgan, and Jonny Bairstow all looked in good touch and there was still plenty of batting to follow. The benefit of England’s players playing plenty of top-flight T20 cricket around the world is showing and their team just seems a bit better prepared than New Zealand at the moment.
Jonny Bairstow, Dawid Malan, J Vince, Eoin Morgan, Sam Billings, Sam Curran, Lewis Gregory, Chris Jordan, AU Rashid, Saqib Mahmood, Patrick Brown.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to field first. The pitch is not going to deteriorate in New Zealand and knowing what target to chase down can be advantageous.

A bright and sunny day with almost no chance of rain has been predicted in Wellington for match day. The conditions are going to be excellent for T20 cricket with a flat pitch and not too much grass on the surface.
Wellington is one of the bigger stadiums in New Zealand and is a test match center as well. The boundaries are going to be on the shorter side but not some of the ridiculous ones that we will see later in the series.
A score of 180-190 must be seen as par.
Dream11 Prediction and Dream11 Team for New Zealand vs England 2nd T20 is going to assume a better batting performance from both teams in some truly brilliant conditions expected at Wellington. There may be a few changes in the playing eleven for both teams and so make sure that you check your lineup after the toss.

New Zealand has been struggling in T20 cricket because its top-order has not been performing. They did not start off too well in this series and we think that may continue to haunt them for some time yet. England is playing with a lot more professionalism and has better options at its disposal.
Bet on England to win.
