New Zealand has taken a 2-1 lead in the T20 series against England after the visitors collapsed and let go of a winning position in the third T20. With just two matched to go, the series is on the line for England. Will Eoin Morgan continue his relentless experimentation or finally play the best possible England lineup in these last two matches?
New Zealand will welcome back Trent Boult for these last two matches and rest Lockie Ferguson as they look ahead at the test match leg of this series. The home side will know that it has the lead in the series without playing its best cricket and would want to rectify that in the last two matches.
New Zealand vs England 4th T20 2019 is going to be played at McLean Park, Napier on the 8th of November 2019.
Problems at the top of the order continue to plague New Zealand and we cannot help but think that Colin Munro I on borrowed time right now. He was out for six in the previous match as well but will continue to feature in the playing eleven because there are no other options in the squad right now.
Guptill showed very good signs in the previous match as he stroked seven fours in his 17 ball stay at the crease. A big score for him could be around the corner, especially now that we are moving towards some of the smaller venues.
Tim Siefert at number three is also having a tough time and needs a score to his name soon. New Zealand’s top-3 are far from their best at the moment and that leaves the team vulnerable.
Colin de Grandhomme, Ross Taylor, and James Neesham are the players that are dragging New Zealand to defendable totals in this series so far. Their role will continue to be important and maybe become more difficult as England picks its best death bowlers for this match.
Lockie Ferguson is not expected to play the final two T20’s and be replaced by Trent Boult. Ferguson has been the best bowler for New Zealand in this series and even though Boult is a proven performer, this trade could end up weakening the Kiwis.
Tim Southee has been economical but is not picking up too many wickets but Blair Tickner was very good in the previous match. Santner and Sodhi may continue to play together even on the smaller grounds since that has been the way that New Zealand has gone in recent matches.
Tim Seifert, Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Ross Taylor, Daryl Mitchell, Colin de Grandhomme, Mitchell Santner, TG Southee, TA Boult, IS Sodhi, Blair Tickner.
It has been extremely frustrating to see England play with a lineup that is clearly not its best and then loses matches that it could have won. Dropping Chris Jordan and Adil Rashid, England’s two best T20 bowlers, from the previous match was a clear indication that England does not care about winning the series too much.
This is why we advise you to have a look at the England side before placing your bets. If England plays its best eleven then it is a far stronger team than New Zealand but its reserve players are not quite the finished article yet.
Ideally, we would like to Chris Jordan, Tom Curran, Adil Rashid, and Sam Curran as the four front;-line bowlers with Lewis Gregory and maybe Pat Brown rounding out the bowling.
Jonny Bairstow did not play the previous match, easily one of England’s best batsman, and will hopefully make a comeback into the side again. Dawid Malan and James Vince have been scoring runs without being able to finish off matches and so we hope Tom Banton can keep his place in the side for this next match too.
With Sam Curran batting at number 6, England is a batsman short. They could actually just play one bowler less and lengthen their batting to make the team more competitive.
It is difficult to see England making a comeback into the series if it continues to drop its best and most experienced players. This a must-win match to keep the series alive and so hopefully the best possible playing eleven will be fielded in this contest.
If that happens then we think England has the batting power and the bowling skill to win against New Zealand quite easily.
Jonny Bairstow, Tom Banton, Dawid Malan, Eoin Morgan, Sam Billings, Sam Curran, Lewis Gregory, Tom Curran, Chris Jordan, Patrick Brown, Matt Parkinson.

McLean Park, Napier is one of the best batting surfaces in the entire world, forget just New Zealand. It is a square-shaped ground with some ridiculously short boundaries and odd angles which make defending totals very difficult.
The pitch here is very flat and comes on to the bat nicely. Since the surface is a drop-in type, the groundsman leaves a bit of extra grass till the very last day to keep the surface together. Typically, the bowlers may get a bit of movement with the new ball but it then flattens out to be a batting beauty.
A score of around 180 can be considered par but it by no means ‘safe’ batting first.
Dream11 team and Dream 11 prediction for New Zealand vs England has to assume certain team changes from England but as this series has shown, it is very important to check the final playing eleven before the start. Tom Banton gave us a small glimpse of what he is capable of in the previous match and we think he is about to break out in a big way. He is our surprise pick for captain in this match and could end up rocketing our Dream11 team up in the rankings.

Punters must look at England’s playing eleven before placing their bets because at the moment they are not putting their best players on the park. If that continues to be the case then look to back the home side but if England does recall its best players then it may be better value in this must-win match.
Bet on England to win.
