Pakistan followed much the same kind of template that it has been for quite some time. It started well, Mohammad Rizwan showed more aggression, Babar Azam also got a decent start, but then the middle and lower order struggled. In the end, the big finish at the end did not come and Pakistan was left at least 20 runs short.
What should be more worrying for Pakistan was the fact that its fast bowlers looked completely toothless. Sure, the conditions were not in their favor but that has been the strength of Pakistan for so long. Its fast bowlers were able to get more out of surfaces than everyone else but we did not see that in the first match.
We don't think there are going to be any changes in the playing eleven for this match. Pakistan made a few changes and will want to give this combination a longer run. Usman Qadir and Mohammad Wasim are the bowlers that we are keeping an eye on while Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam remain the batters that you can depend on.

England was without Jos Buttler in the previous match but that did not deter them from playing their attacking brand of cricket. Phil Salt and Alex Hales made excellent use of the new ball and had the cushion to take their time once the field restrictions had been lifted.
Dawid Malan, Ben Duckett, Harry Brooks, and Moeen Ali all got a hit in the middle. They also have Sam Curran, Dawid Malan, and Adil Rashid in the lineup giving them an incredible amount of batting depth. The odds available to bet on England's batting are quite favorable right now and worth considering.
England's bowling was not the greatest but it got the job done. Adil Rashid was excellent and Luke Wood benefitted from some poor batting during the death overs. David Willey struggled (without swing he generally does) and Moeen Ali was expensive as well.
We could see one or two changes in the playing eleven.

The pitch was sluggish and slow. We hope that is not the case for this match but seeing a big change in the playing surface within a couple of days is very hard to do.
