Pakistan

Pakistan is learning very quickly that the T20 format has changed and its team needs to adapt as well. This is particularly true for venues like Karachi which are very high-scoring. The issues are not just limited to the batting either. Pakistan's bowlers have conceded well over 200 runs in the previous two matches. 

The current consensus seems to be that Pakistan is beatable if you get Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam out cheaply. Shan Masood is an excellent addition to the team and made an aggressive fifty but he is one position too low at number four. Haider Ali is under tremendous pressure and needs to perform. 

Also, Khushdil Shah and Iftikhar Ahmed would be running out of chances as well. 

Without Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan, Pakistan's bowling attack is quite ordinary. None of the fast bowlers have shown menace and the spinners are traveling for plenty of runs. 

England

England made changes from the team that lost the second match to the third but not necessarily because of cricketing reasons. The idea is to keep rotating the players and keep them fresh for the entire seven matches. We could very well see Alex Hales make a comeback into the team for this match. 

Whatever lineup England decides to play, it has a stronger batting unit than Pakistan. Players like Phil Salt, Will Jacks, and Alex Hales are adept at providing quick starts while the middle-order is also in excellent hands with Ben Duckett, Harry Brooks, and Moeen Ali. 

England's bowlers adapted quite well to the conditions in the previous match but they also had a huge target behind them to defend. It was just one match before that they conceded 200 runs without picking up a single wicket. Mark Wood made a big difference but whether he plays this next match remains to be seen. He is usually rested in between matches that are closely packed together.
