The venue has now shifted to Lahore, which we think will play into the hands of the Pakistanis. England has been changing its team around to give as many players a chance as possible but with a slight break, we could see a return to its first-choice lineup.

Pakistan

Pakistan may make two very important changes to its lineup as Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan are expected to be available for selection. This could really help level up its bowling attack and strengthen the batting lineup as well. The players to miss out will be Usman Qadir and Mohammad Wasim Jr. in all likelihood.

Pakistan's batting continues to be dependent on Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam. Both of them are just so reliably consistent that they score more often than not. Shan Masood, Khushdil Shah, and Iftikhar Ahmed will form the top order with Asif Ali coming in to hit sixes at the death!

Haris Rauf was magnificent in the previous match and showed just why he is rated as one of the best in the world. He will be crucial in this next match as well. If Pakistan does add Shadab Khan and Naseem Shah to its lineup, it is going to be very hard to stop.

England would have been quite disappointed at losing the previous match to England. It kept Pakistan to a low total and then put on a really poor batting performance. Liam Dawson played a blinder at the end and almost got the team home before Haris Rauf bowled a breathtaking spell of bowling.

We know that Jos Buttler is not going to play this match and so the musical chairs of players will continue. Salt, Hales, and Jacks played the previous match. For this one, we could see Dawid Malan make a comeback but it is quite difficult to predict.

Ben Duckett and Harry Brook seem to be certainties for England in this series, as is the skipper Moeen Ali. David Willey is a liability and is unlikely to play this match. We expect to see Mark Wood back in action for this one.
