PAK vs ENG Match Prediction - Sep 30, 2022

Pakistan has taken a 3-2 lead over England heading into the 6th match of the series. If Pakistan wins this, it wins the series. England has continued to impress considering it is playing without some of its best players in foreign conditions and it continues to build an unbelievable amount of bench strength.

The scene is set and it has been very hard to separate the two teams so far. It is no surprise that the cricket betting sites have offered very similar odds for both teams.

Match prediction and cricket betting tips for Pakistan vs England 6th T20 2022. The match will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on the 30th of September 2022.

PAK vs ENG Team Previews

Pakistan

Pakistan made three changes in their team as they brought in Haider Ali, Shadab Khan, and Aamer Jamal. While Haider Ali failed once more, Shadab Khan and Aamer Jamal made an immediate impact. With Mohammad Wasim Jr. at number 10, Pakistan's batting depth in the previous match was incredible.

We think Pakistan will stick to the same lineup unless there is an injury.

Mohammad Rizwan now has five fifties in his previous six matches and is in just incredible form. The rest of the batting lineup may not have scored runs in the previous match but we all know what Babar Azam is capable of. The middle-order question continues to haunt Pakistan but its depth in batting will help ease some fears.

The bowling attack for Pakistan is world-class. It is dangerous in any condition but certainly one of the best at home. Haris Rauf is breathing fire, Shadab Khan was tough to pick, and the others also did a good job. The spin-friendly surface allowed Iftikhar Ahmed to bowl his four overs for just 16 runs.

A lot of variety and a lot of options while bowling gives Pakistan the luxury to plan favorable matchups.

Pakistan Playing 11

Babar Azam, Mohammad Haris, Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Haider Ali, Asif Ali, Mohammad Nawaz, Aamer Jamal, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Shahnawaz Dahani.

England

England came close (for the second match in a row) but could not get over the line. It seemed to have Pakistan on the mat at 100 for 7 but the bowlers gave away a few too many runs at the death. Mark Wood was exceptional with his raw pace and seems to have uncovered a bit of a chink in Babar Azam's armor.
Chris Woakes played the previous match alongside David Willey, Sam Curran, and Adil Rashid. This is not a bad attack but it is not the ideal one for Pakistani conditions. We think England got away with some fortune going their away otherwise they could have been chasing a lot bigger score.
England is also struggling to keep wickets intact during the powerplay. For two games now, England has lost three wickets in the powerplay. It has the depth to recover, but its best batters are up top, and their inability to convert starts is a big concern.
England is one of the best T20 teams in the world and so cannot be ruled out but we think the constant chopping and changing, the conditions in Lahore, and the end of a challenging white-ball tour would all be playing on its mind.
England Playing 11

Philip Salt, AD Hales, Dawid Malan, Ben Duckett, Harry Brook, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, David Willey, AU Rashid, Reece Topley, Richard Gleeson.

PAK vs ENG Toss Prediction

The team that wins the toss is likely to field first. There was a fair bit of dew in the previous match and even though the pitch was slow, we think both teams will take their chances chasing.
Pitch and Conditions

The pitch at the Gaddafi Stadium was nowhere close to being as good for batting as what we saw in Karachi. The ball did not come on to the bat, run-scoring was difficult, and the spinners had their say. In these conditions, the balance swings the way of Pakistan quite dramatically.
We expect another similar surface where the batters will have to work hard for their runs. A score of around 160 could be quite good on this surface.
PAK vs ENG Betting Tips

We are going to bet on Pakistan to win. It has added a lot of depth to its batting lineup and the return of Shadab Khan makes the bowling immediately better. The momentum is with the home team and we think another strong performance is around the corner.

Pakistan has the most prolific opening par in the world right now. They tend to bat long and score a lot of runs. IN contrast, England has lost three wickets in the powerplay in its previous two matches. We like the odds being offered on Pakistan and will take a small punt.

Is there a better T20 death bowler than Haris Rauf? He is at his best when bowling in the end overs but he can pick up wickets at any stage of the inning. Raw pace makes him a menace to the tail enders. He is also in spectacular form coming into this match
