Pakistan wrapped up the T20 series with a win in the second T20 without any trouble whatsoever. The contest in the T20’s has not been as close as it was in the ODI’s and so Pakistan may be tempted to give more of its youngsters a leading role in this final match.
Zimbabwe’s limitations in the T20 format have been clear for everyone to see. There is not enough time to make any major changes but it would be hoping to get at least one win to its name in this final match.
Will Pakistan be scared to try out some changes after the loss it suffered in the ODI’s or will they plan for future/tougher assignments?
Pakistan vs Zimbabwe 3rd T20 2020 is going to be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi on the 10th of November 2020.
Pakistan is an excellent T20 team and far superior to the Zimbabwe unit. That was never in any doubt. The temperament of the players and their inconsistency was something that its supporters would have been worried about, however, that also seems to have been put to rest.
Babar Azam has lead from the front with consecutive fifties in his previous four innings. We don’t think he is going to take a break but it may actually benefit Pakistan if gets out early. He often covers up so many of the batting frailties of the others that their true worth is not often known.
Haider Ali appears to be a very fine find and has a good power game as well. Apart from these two, the Pakistani batsmen have not really performed well. Fakhar Zaman has failed twice and would love to make amends in this third inning as Imam ul Haq waits in the wings.
The likes of Haris Sohail, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Imad Wasim could get a go in this last game.
Overall, we believe whatever team combination Pakistan plays, it will have the strength necessary to win this match with ease.
Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Haider Ali, Abdullah Shafique, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Rizwan, SI Wasim, U Qadir, Muhammad Musa, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain.
There may be some people that think Zimbabwe snuck in a victory against Pakistan in the final ODI because they rested some of their players. Frankly speaking, Zimbabwe should not care and hope for the same in this match.
We already know that Zimbabwe is going to come with its best eleven. That this team is not very well-suited to T20 cricket is apparent. There are not enough players that are capable of naturally attacking from the beginning or enough bowlers that can hit the yorkers at the end.
Elton Chigumbura could be counted as one player that had the power game but he is far past his prime now and is unable to provide Zimbabwe with the boost it needs.
Brendan Taylor, Sikandar Raza, and Sean Williams are the prime batsmen of the side. Madhavere has impressed in this series as well but he is not going to win you too many matches on his own either.
Still, a T20 inning just needs one good inning from one batsman to make a big impact. The bowling, though, needs everyone to chip in and that is where Zimbabwe is struggling.
They are still trying to stop the runs rather than picking up wickets, something that just does not work at the international level right now. None of their bowlers have express pace and there is no mystery spinner to throw up a challenge either.
Zimbabwe’s bowling is pedestrian on most days and average at best.
BRM Taylor, Chamu Chibhabha, Craig Ervine, Milton Shumba, Wesley Madhevere, Ryan Burl, E Chigumbura, Donald Tiripano, Faraz Akram, Blessing Muzarabani, Wellington Masakadza.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first to try and make the most of the conditions on offer.

The conditions in Rawalpindi have been excellent for batting. The ball has come on to the bat nicely and there has been no extra help for any bowler. Such conditions actually play into the hands of the Pakistani’s because their bowlers remain effective while their batting is not tested much.
Expect Pakistan to score near 200 if it bats first.
We think Pakistan is the only team to back here. The upset that every punter is waiting for is unlikely to come and there is no way that we can recommend a bet on Zimbabwe. The value may not be there but a bet on Pakistan is the only way.
Bet on Pakistan to win.
This is our banker bet for the match. The strength of the Pakistani batting is such that a fifty is one the cards no matter who bats first. The flat wicket will allow Zimbabwe to put up some sort of a fight against Pakistan as well. This is free money being given away. Take it!
Sean Williams bats in the top order and is one of the few batsmen in the Zimbabwe side that looks comfortable playing T20 cricket. He is very good against the spinners and handles the fast bowlers pretty well too. We think 4.5x return is an excellent value for him.
We just don’t think that Fakhar Zaman is close to being at his best right now. He is playing way too many poor shots and taking unnecessary risks. We don’t think he is going to get past 25 in this match either and you should be able to register some healthy returns.
