The sudden explosion of Cricket in Europe has certainly grabbed the attention of the fans across the globe. Finnish Cricket League with its quality has already impressed fans across the globe and ECN Czech Super Series brings about another opportunity for lesser-known players. In the second match of the tournament, Bohemian Cricket Club is set to play against Prague Barbarians Visigoths on 13th June at Scott Page Field, Vinor Cricket Ground, Prague. While it is going to be the first assignment for the Bohemian CC, the Visigoths would have already faced United Cricket Club coming into the match. Both sides have some talented cricketers who will be itching to showcase their skills on the global stage.
Prague Barbarians Visigoths is one of the well-established teams in the Czech Republic and it is apparent from their recent performances as well. They are coming off four wins in their last five matches and will be looking to carry on with the momentum. However, none of their wins came in the T10 format, which is as new to them as it is for the other sides of the tournament.
On paper, PBV has a well-settled unit. They have Yash Sailan as their skipper and will shoulder the load of scoring runs along with Sumit Pokhriyal, who is their most experienced campaigner. Pokhriyal has already featured in five T20Is and is one of the better-known players in the Czech domestic circuit.
While the Barbarians look a strong unit with a solid batting attack, their bowling isn't so experienced. They still have the services of Prem Nandivada who did well in Pro 40 last year, but they do not have anyone else experienced at their disposal. Prague Barbarians Visigoths will have the advantage of knowing the conditions better as they would have already played a match before. Considering the experience and fire-power they have at their disposal, beating them isn't going to be easy for any side in the tournament.
Yashwantha Salian, Prem Nandivada, Sahil Grover, Sumit Pokhriyal, Amritpal Rai, Bilal Samad, Harsha Chaganty, Narayanan Achuthan, Piyush Kumar, Charles Thambi, Vedavyas Krishnan.
Bohemian Cricket Club may not be as popular as Prague Barbarians Visigoths, they do not have any dearth of talent in their lineup. They have a reasonably good batting lineup with a couple of players who can hit the ball hard and long. However, most of their players lack experience of playing professional competitive cricket and that could be a factor in crunch situations.
Wicket-keeper batsman Muhammad Zubair, Saqlain Saqib Mukhtar, and Zahid Mahmood are their most experienced batsmen. The trio would need to play out maximum of ten avaialble overs for Bohemian CC to post a competitive total. Although in the middle order, they have the services of the all-rounders Javed Iqbal, Ravindra Singh Bisht, and Abul Farhad, who lend incredible balance to their lineup, setting the tone at the top will be of massive importance.
While their batting looks good, they appear to be lacking skills as well as experience with the ball. Ali Waqar, Waheed ur Rehman, and Waseem Sardar Khan form the core of their bowling attack and would need to put their best foot forward. All in all, Bohemian CC appears to be a solid unit, but lack of fire-power with the ball could hurt them. If their bowlers can stick to the plan and execute it perfectly, BCC will have a good chance to topple Prague Barbarians Visigoths in this upcoming fixture.
Javed Iqbal, Ravindra Singh Bist, Abul Farhad, Sazib Bhuiyan, Saqlain Saqib Mukhtar, Zahid Mahmood, Muhammad Nabeel, Ali Waqar, Waheed Ur-Rehman, Waseem Sardar Khan, Saurabh Kakaria.
Considering that this is the second game of the day, the chances of early assistance for the bowlers are negligible. However, the teams batting second have always had an advantage in the shortest format of the game. Therefore, winning the toss and bowling first should be the way to go here as well.

The surface shouldn't change much between the first and the last over of the match. The overhead conditions and weather are likely to be perfect to play Cricket with negligible chances of rain. The outfield could be a bit on the slower side and the team batting first should be looking to put a total of at least 80 runs on the board.

These are early days in the tournament, but putting points on the board early can be of colossal advantage at the fag end of the tournament. There isn't much to choose between the sides as far as the batting lineup of the two is concerned. However, Prague Barbarians Visigoths look slightly better-balanced and have some experienced players available at their disposal as well. In addition to that, they will have an advantage of knowing the surface better. For those reasons, we think betting on a Prague Barbarians win should be the way to go for the upcoming encounter.
