Punjab has won all of its matches but surprisingly, its players have not really shone with their individual performances. Only two batters have scored a century and no one has scored more than one. Still, almost all of the batters have contributed in some matches and that has helped the team get the results it needed. 

Against a team like Karnataka, the batters will need to be at their best someone like Anmolpreet Singh or Mandeep Singh will need to score a big one. 

Abhishek Sharma has 12 wickets to his name, the most by far for any player from Punjab. Siddharth Kaul has also done well with 9 wickets. These two will lead the bowling unit. 

Karnataka

We think Karnataka has a lot more batting strength and depth in its lineup. It has Nikin Jose with over 400 runs to his name and some very experienced players like Manish Pandey, Mayank Aggarwal, and K Gowtham add some serious quality to their lineup. 

The players that Karnataka has are regulars in the IPL and are used to performing on the big stage. That is a big advantage to have in a knockout game like this one. 

Karnataka is the only team in the tournament with five bowlers that have taken 10 or more wickets. Koushik, Kaverappa, More, and Gowtham are the bowlers that will pose the biggest threat to the Punjab batting lineup.
