Group B of the ECN Czech Super League is expected to be at least as competitive as Group A happened to be. The fans will be eager to see Prague CC Knights and Prague Spartans Vanguards take on each other. Being the last league match of the Group, a lot would be hanging on the result of this match.
The two sides are set to take on each other on Sunday, June 20th at Velvary Cricket Ground in Prague, Czech Republic. Both sides are rich in talent and experience and the fans will be eagerly waiting for this mouth-watering contest of Group B.
With experienced players in Kasi Vishwanathan Balakrishnan, Sujith Gopalakrishnan, and Laxminaryanan Selvan, Prague CC Knights have a talented batting order. While Balakrishnan failed to do anything of substance against the Biancos, he will still be a force to reckon with in the upcoming contest. Jinnu Panilet Panipichai, their other opener, looked in good touch before their match against Biancos was abandoned due to rain.
Gopalakrishnan, one of their most experienced players, will most likely bat in the middle-order to lend balance to their batting lineup. The experience of playing in over eighty matches will help him as a captain as well as the batsmen. Karthik Gopalakrishnan and Laxminarayanan Selvan are two othe batsmen who can surprise the opponents with their hard-hitting skills.
Rich in experience and having an extremely talented top-order, beating Prague Cricket Club Knights is going to be as tough for the Vanguards as it has been for the other sides. They looked good against Biancos before rain cut the match short and if they manage to perform to their potential, beating them is going to be difficult.
Karthick Gopalakrishnan, Sone Joseph Neerolipadan, Naveen Padmaraju, Vijay Karthikeyan, Sujith Gopalakrishnan, Dijo Vincent, Jinnu Panilet Panipichai, Kasi Vishwanathan Balakrishnan, Laxminarayanan Selvan, Joseph Johnson, Charles Croucher.
Arguably the best-balanced side of the Group, the Vanguards will be the team to watch-out for, not just in the Group, but also on the final weekend, provided they manage to get past this stage. They have a batting lineup loaded with players who are all capable of hitting the ball hard from the word go.
The likes of Vineet Mahajan, Ghanshyam Kumar, and Parth Bhalodia are expected to play in the top-order and onus will be on them to get Vanguards off to a solid start. With the likes of Satyajit Sengupta and Prasanna Ganesan available at their disposal, who both are known for their hitting abilities, Vanguards' batting is capable of scoring any total possible on the surface.
Unlike most of the other teams in the competition, the Vanguards have extensive experience available with the ball as well. The Vanguards have the services of specialist bowlers with the likes of Neeraj Tyagi, Ashokkumar Reddy Somireddy, and Suhaib Wani in the lineup. All in all, the Vanguards appear to have immaculate balance with excellent amalgamation of specialists and all-rounders. Beating them is going to take a lot of work for any team in the competition.
Vineet Mahajan, Neeraj Tyagi, Vyshakh Jagannivasan, Santhosh Bemmireddy, Prasannaa Ganesan, Ghanshyam Kumar, Karthik Ekambaram, Kranthi Venkataswamy, Parth Bhalodiya, Satyajit Sengupta, Ashokkumar Somireddy.
Fortune favored the team that batted first in the first four matches of the tournament and that might tempt the captains to bat first. It is likely to be a high-pressure game and runs on board will matter. Winning the toss and batting first should be the way to go here in this match.

It was fortunate to get three games completed despite a huge rain threat on Saturday. Sunday is no different and it is expected to rain in the first half of the day. Outfield might be on the slower side and scoring runs quickly could be difficult. As the surface will be artificial, it isn't expected to change over the course of the match. As seen in the first four matches, a total of over 80 should be a winning score.

All eyes will be on the result of this match as it could dictate who progresses to the final in Group B. Arguably the two best sides of the Group, they are expected to come hard at each other and it isn't going to be an easy win for either of them. Having played a couple of matches each on Saturday, both the sides will have a fair idea of the conditions. Comparing the two sides on paper, the Vanguards look a far better-balanced side, and are more likely to emerge on top in this all-important fixture.
