It was a terrific match between Bohemian Cricket Club and Prague CC Kings on the deciding day in ECN Czech Super Series T10 as Bohemian CC came back from behind to secure a place to play in the final weekend of the tournament. The focus now shifts towards Group 2, where four highly talented are set to battle it out.
In the second match of the day, that is June 20th, are Prague CC Knights set to take on Vnohrady Rossos at Velvary Cricket Ground in Prague. While Prague CC Knights will have a bit of an advantage of having played on the surface before, Vinohrady Rosses too would have taken cues sitting as neutrals for the duration of the opening game. Such is the nature of the format that not much time is there to ponder upon the little intricacies of the game. While that is true small details can make a huge difference at the end. We expect this match to be yet another hard-fought encounter of the tournament.
The second game of Group 2 would be second game for Prague CC Knights as well. Although they will enjoy the experience from their opening fixture, a lot will matter on their performance of the first match. They draw most of their experience from Sujith Gopalakrishnan, who has extensive experience of playing for Prague Cricket Club across all formats.
Along with Sujith Gopalakrishnan, Jinnu Panilet Panipichai, Laxminarayan Selvan, and Kasi Vishwanathan are expected to play key roles for the Knights to put up a good batting performance. They lack solid support in the lower middle-order and will hope the likes of Charles Croucher and Naveen Padmaraju to contribute in both the departments.
While T10 is a game of scoring runs as quickly as possible, bowling accurate lines and lenghts and maintaining discipline could be game-changing. Knights, however, lack firepower as well as experience in the bowling department and it would be interesting to see how their skipper gets most out of Eswar Gopalakrishnan and Joseph Johnson on the match day.
Sujith Gopalakrishnan, Sone Joseph Neerolipadan, Naveen Padmaraju, Vijay Karthikeyan, Karthick Gopalakrishnan, Jinnu Panilet Panipichai, Kasi Vishwanathan Balakrishnan, Laxminarayanan Selvan, Pavan Kumar Sunkara, Joseph Johnson, Charles Croucher.
Vnohrady Rossos isn't a well-known name in the Czech domestic scene and does not have a good record to back them either. However, they have a few capable players available at their disposal who all can whack the ball around and turn the game on its head. The Rossos will be looking to take advantage of Knights' weak bowling attack and the likes of Kyle Gilham and Ed Knowles can come in handy.
Knowles is one of their most experienced batsmen and will take center of the stage. At the top of the order, he is likely to find support in Shaun Dalton, Kyle Gilham, and Arshad Yousafzai. Yousafzai and Gilham are known for their bowling skills as well and their all-round effort could be key to Rossos' fortunes.
Just like the Knights and most other teams in the tournament, the Rossos are a little light on experience in the bowling department. Their bowling rests heavily on the shoulders of Paul Taylor and he would need support from their other not so well-known bowlers to deliver the goods against hard-hitting Knights' batsmen. If they can do that, the Rossos could be in for a fine ride.
Ed Knowles, Shaun Dalton, Kyle Gilham, Mikulas stary, Arshad Yousafzai, Shoumyadeep Rakshit, Ritik Tomar, Siddarth Goud, Paul Taylor, Chris Pearce, Brigham Smith.
There isn't a lot that is going to change over the course of the match and toss shouldn't play a massive role as far as conditions are concerned. However, teams generally prefer to chase in the shorter formats of the game and we don't expect anything different here as well. The captain winning the toss is likely to field first.

As this is the second match of the day, the surface and outfield might just ease up further for batting. The surface is expected to be less lively than it will be in the first match unless of course, it rains during the first match. The overhead conditions, however, are likely to stay overcast. A total of around 75 will be a par score on this surface.

Both sides are a little light on experience and will be in for plenty of surprises. The Knights will have a considerable advantage of knowing the surface better and that could turn out to be a telling factor. Also, the Knights have a better-balanced team with excellent amalgamation of specialists and all-rounders. Although they appear to be a little light on bowling firepower, they are an overall better team as compared to the Rossos, at least on paper. For those reasons, betting on a Knights win should be the way to go in the upcoming encounter.
