Veteran Beth Mooney is once again in top form and is the top-scorer for her team with 258 runs at an average of more than 50. Captain Sophie Devine, while not being able to score many runs, has compensated with her bowling abilities by being quite economical, and picking up 4 wickets. Chloe Piparo and Maddy Green have played well, but haven’t been consistent enough.
Alana King and Lilly Mills will once again be the key bowlers for the Scorchers. They will be assisted by Taneale Paschel and Marizzane Kapp.

Adelaide stumbled a bit at the start, losing its first 2 matches. But since then they have steadied themselves, and are now 4th on the points table, 3 points above Hobart.
Madeline Penna has been rock solid in the middle order and has scored an aggregate of 224 runs, at an incredible average of 74. Katie Mack has been pretty consistent at the top of the order, while Laura Wolvaardt, Bridget Patterson, and Deandra Dottin have performed well in patches. Amanda Wellington has been excellent with her leg breaks, picking up 14 wickets so far.
Megan Schutt, Darcie Brown, and Jemma Barsby have bowled well throughout the tournament, contributing to the Strikers’ victories.
