PERW vs SYDW Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Nov 23, 2019
As we are moving deeper into the Women's Big Bash League, things are getting tighter and tighter with every passing match. The race for the top-four slots is pretty intense with seven teams still in contention to make it to the playoffs. Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers are just inside the top-four teams and they both will be looking to stay there with a win in their upcoming contest. They are set to face each other on 23rd November at Perth. With not many matches to go till the playoffs, each match is of significant importance and we expect a cracker of a contest on Saturday.
PERW vs SYDW Team Previews
Perth Scorchers Women
The Scorchers had a poor start to the tournament and for most of its part, they were languishing at the bottom of the table. They have, however, picked up some important wins in their last few matches and are in a pretty good position to finish amongst the top four teams.
They are currently placed at the fourth spot at the ladder and have 12 points to their name. However, a poor net run-rate means that there could be a struggle for them at the back-end of the league stage should things go down to the wire.
The Scorchers have registered wins in four out of their last five matches and have the momentum. They are coming off a massive win in their last match wherein they cruised past Melbourne Stars with considerable ease. Chasing a total of 149, the Stars Scorchers looked settled from the beginning and got there with five balls to spare and nine wickets in hand.

Sydney Sixers Women
Arguably the best side of last year's tournament, Sydney Sixers haven't been able to weave the same magic. They are currently placed at the third spot at the ladder with 12 points to their name in ten matches. Another couple of wins should put them in a pretty good spot as far as qualification for the next round is concerned.
The Sixers got off to a pretty poor start in the tournament, but picked up pace as the tournament progressed. However, a loss in their last two matches has put them in a spot of bother. They now need to win at least two of their remaining four fixtures and that is not going to be easy.
They are coming off an embarrasing loss in their previous match and the absence of Elysse Perry has really hurt them. In the absence of Perry, their openers failed to get off to the start Sixers would have wanted and were struggling at five for 30 at one stage. Had it not been for Marizanne Kapp's spectacular fifty, the Sixers would have bundled out for a lot less.
Defending a total of 134 was never easy and hence it proved. Even though the Sixers made early inroads as Kapp picked up three quick wickets, the Hurricanes managed to cruise to the total, thanks to poor bowling in the death and middle-overs. The balance of Sixers has really taken a hit in the absence of Elysse Perry and it would be interesting to see how they deal with it in the upcoming fixtures.

PERW vs SYDW Betting Tips
The two teams are placed next to each other at the ladder and the contest between the two is expected to be close as well. While the Sixers appear to be losing steam in their last few matches, the Scorchers have actually gained a lot of ground. The Scorchers have the momentum and the absence of Elysse Perry could hurt Sixers' chances. Considering that as well as the other above-mentioned factors, Perth Scorchers are better placed to emerge on top on Saturday.
