ECN Czech Super Series has already brought some terrific action in the two concluded weekends and the excitement for the upcoming matches seems to be brewing nicely. The first day of the Group 3 fixtures is likely to provide plenty of entertainment for the fans as well as opportunities for the players.
Budejovice Barracudas CC is one of the teams that have been itching to get opportunities to play at the highest level in the Prague domestic circuit and this tournament provides them with just that. They are set to play against Prague Barbarians Vandals in the final contest of the day. The match is to be played at Scott Page Field, Vinor Cricket Ground in Prague.
Featuring some of the most prolific players in the Czech domestic cricket, Peague Barbarians Vandals are arguably the best team of the group. They have been playing as team for over 12 years and are rich in experience as well as talent. They have done reasonbaly well in all the recent tournament they participated in and will be looking to build on the good work.
Most of the Vandals' strength lie in their terrific batting lineup. Their batting relies heavily on Czech National team players in Sabwoon Davizi and Honey Gori. Honey Gori is a swashbuckling opener and has scored heaps of runs already in limited opportunities he has had. In just 12 innings, Honey Gori has a total of 691 runs to his name with an average of over 69. With the likes of Davizi, Gori, Haque, and Sai Vandrasi, Vandals' batting appears to be in good hands.
Vandals' bowling isn't as threatning as their batting is, but the Vandals wouldn't be too concerned about it. The presence of all-rounders who have experience of bowling at the highest-level, adds variety to their bowling lineup. All in all, the Vandals' is a solid unit that is a bit light on bowling strength, but their batting certainly has enough firepower to cover for the voids in their bowling.
Jafar Stooman, Pradeepraj Balakrishnan, Divyendra Singh, Sagar Madhireddy, Sabawoon Davizi, Jahanur Hoque, Pradeep Gangappa, Kushagra Bhatnagar, Honey Gori, Shantanu Kulkarni, Andrew Sim.
Budejovice Barracudas CC are one of the lesser-known teams of the tournament and playing against one of the better teams will certainly be a huge challenge. However, they will have the experience of playing against the Mobilizers before and that experience could come in handy against the Vandals.
On paper, the Barracudas appear to be a decent team with not many visible voids. However, the lack of experience of playing at the highest-level could hurt them in crunch situations. Apart from Arun Natarajan and Ayush Sharma, not many batsmen in Barracudas' top-order are known for their hitting abilities and the onus will be on Natarajan and Sharma to deal most of the damage at the top.
Although Barracudas appear to be a little light at the top, they have a versatile lower middle-order with Ritesh Khanna and Ajay Mishra available. Ritesh Khanna is known to score quickly and that could be useful in this format of the game. Their bowlers, who are all relatively inexperienced, are likely to face a steep challenge of bowling to a powerful batting lineup and early wickets will be the key. Overall, Barracudas are a good team on paper, but lack of experience could be a cause of concern form them. Having said that, a few big hits can change the fate of the match in this shortest format of the game and Barracudas are certainly capable to do that and cause an upset here.
Ritesh Khanna, Ajay Mishra, Legi Sam, Nagarajan Murugan, Daniel Parrot, Joseph Foster, Rahul Mishra, Philip Butterill, Anbu Poosakkannu, Sazzad Mahmood, Muthusamy.
As this is the last game of the day, fatigue could be a factor with the sun shining bright. Considering that as well as the fact that teams have found chasing a bit difficult in the tournament so far, we expect the team winning the toss to bat first.

This is the last match of the day on the surface and considering that the surface is artificial, there is not going to be any change in the conditions. The overhead conditions have improved and we expect a sunny afternoon. Spinners, however, will still have a limited role to play and the onus will be on quick bowlers to stem the flow of runs as well as pick wickets. A total of 90 is a par score on this surface.
Check out the Dream11 fantasy team prediction for the ECN Czech Super Series T10 Group 3 match between Prague Barbarians Vandals and Budejovice Barracudas CC:
Considering the combination of the two sides, the Vandals appear to be ahead, both in terms of experience and on-paper strength. They have a strong top-order with long tail with almost everyone capable to hit long hits. They appear to be an overall better team on all accounts, and are, therefore, our pick to emerge as winners in this upcoming fixture.
