Karun Nair played a breezy innings and ended up with a fifty. On the bowling front, James Faulkner, Stuart Binny and Dhawal Kulkarni picked up 2 wickets each and Tim Southee bowled a decent spell up front to restrict DD to 175. They lost their last game against Mumbai Indians by 8 wickets after Sanju Samsons’s superb 76 off 46 was not enough for RR to cross the line but his good form will help the team in crunch situations. They were never really into the chase as they lost couple of wickets early; Moises Henriques scored 41 off 33 while Karn Sharma smashed 32 off 20. Once they got out Hyderabad never recovered and kept losing wickets at steady pace.On the bowling front, Karn Sharma and Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up 2 wickets each. Their previous match on Saturday was superb as they won with David Warner cracking a superlative 28 ball 61 against CSK that allowed his team to notch up their highest T20 League total of this season. SRH team has aggressive openers like David Warner, who has been in belligerent form and they have won four games wherein Warner scored 50 on all occasions. Shikhar Dhawan has also done remarkably well at the top; Naman Ojha and Ashish Reddy looked good in patches.
