Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB lost their last match against Kings XI, who are at the bottom of the table, by 22 runs. Chasing a meagre 106 set in 10 overs, they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and it was a total batting order collapse. Mandeep Singh scored 20 off 14 while Kohli scored 19 off 9 but they were unable to revive the innings in a shortened game. On the bowling front, Harshal Patel and Yuzuvendra Chahal picked up 2 wickets each. RCB got a comprehensive win against Mumbai with their batting being phenomenal as AB de Villiers smashed a brilliant 133 off 59 while Virat Kohli posted 82 to help RCB reach a massive 235. Overall, RCB has a strong batting line-up in the form of the dangerous Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli, who have made match-winning combinations more often than not. Their bowling looks solid with Starc and Chahal providing the breakthroughs in crunch situations and other bowler supporting the team well. They will be well aware of the fire-power in team SRH and wouldn’t want to let the winning momentum slip.
It will surely be a tough encounter between SRH and RCB as both teams have done tremendously well in recent matches; SRH bowling squad looks stronger than RCB and although RCB has the capability to bounce back, we feel that the hosts are more likely to win the upcoming match.
