England has traveled to South Africa to continue an almost uninterrupted season of cricket even amongst e pandemic. No other team has played even close to the amount of international cricket that England has managed. South Africa, for example, has seen a complete shutdown in cricket ever since COVID-19 hit and this is a very big series for it.
Right now, there is no other board that is as dysfunctional as South Africa is and so the very fact that this tour is going ahead is a positive.
We are opening with three T20 internationals followed by three ODI’s.
South Africa vs England, 1st T20 2020 is going to be played at Newlands, Capetown on the 27th of November 2020.
South Africa is undergoing a massive transition in its cricket and has slipped down the rankings. The policies regarding the selection of black players, loss of talent because of Kolpak, and other factors have contributed to weakening what has for long been one of the best cricketing nations in the world.
There is no dearth of talent in South Africa, though, and we think that the next generation of players is going to come through sooner rather than later.
In this series, Quinton de Kock is going to be very crucial. He is perhaps the best batsman for South Africa and is coming into this tournament after a very successful IPL. Reeza Hendricks, Janneman Malan, Faf du Plessis, Temba Bavuma, and David Miller are probably the other batsman that are going to feature in the playing eleven.
Andile Phehlukwayo and Dwaine Pretorious should take up the roles of the all-rounders while Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Beuran Hendricks, and Tabraiz Shamsi should be the core of the bowling attack.
This is a very good side, no doubt, and is going to be tough to beat.
The question is going to be finding consistency and form early in the series.
Temba Bavuma, Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis, RVD Dussen, Heinrich Klaasen, PJ van Biljon, George Linde, B Hendricks, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, Tabraiz Shamsi.
There is no other team that is more dominant in white-ball cricket than England today. It has a brilliant set of players that are all fighting for a place in the playing eleven. Not a single player can take his place for granted in the English side right now and that is clear to see.
Eoin Morgan, Dawid Malan, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, Sam Billings, and Moeen Ali could walk into most other T20 teams around the world. We think Billings might be the one that has to sit out now that the entire squad is present.
The sheer batting ability and the depth in the squad is just incredible.
In terms of batting, we think England is far superior to anything that the South Africans can put together.
Jofra Archer leads a very good bowling attack that has Adil Rashid, Chris Jordan, Tom Curran, and a number of all-rounders that can contribute.
Selecting the team is going to be the toughest task ahead of the England team management right now and that is a good place to be in. You can pick out any eleven from the squad and end up with a world-class unit.
Jos Buttler, Jason Roy, Dawid Malan, Jonny Bairstow, BA Stokes, Eoin Morgan, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Jofra Archer, Chris Jordan, AU Rashid.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to field first. Pitches in South Africa tend to get better for batting as the match goes on. Any help that is there for the bowlers is going to be visible in the first few overs of the match.

Some clouds are expected in Cape Town on match day but nothing that is going to threaten the cricket. The pitch is expected to be an absolute belter. The ball should come ont o the bat with pace and the bounce should be nice and even.
A score of around 200 can be expected in this match.

We are going to bet on the visitors in this first match of the series. They have been playing a lot more cricket and are stronger in terms of the batting. The bowling for England is also a shade better than South Africa, although, the difference is much lesser in that category.
Bet on England to win.
Jason Roy and Jos Buttler go very hard at the start of the inning and with Roy the result can be very hit or miss. We like Rabada and possibly Nortje as the opening pair for South Africa as well. A bet on an early wicket has a very good chance to come through.
We see this as being a high-scoring match in which plenty of sixes are going to be hit. The figure of 12 is not very much if you look at the kind of batting lineups that both teams have. This is a bet that we would go big on to try and maximize your returns. It is a small amount of risk for a pretty decent return!
