India has won all its matches in Group A and made things very simple as far as qualification scenarios go. The winner of Australia vs New Zealand will join India as the second qualifier from Group A. The situation in Group B is not quite as straightforward and a lot will depend on this match between South Africa and Pakistan.
The South African women have won both their matches so far, including an upset against England women. Pakistan also managed to beat the West Indies women but could not get past England women. South Africa, Pakistan, England, and the West Indies are all playing each other in the next round of matches and the outcomes of those matches will give us a very good idea of who is progressing further.
South Africa Women vs Pakistan Women ICC T20 Women’s World Cup 2020 is going to be played at the Sydney Showground Stadium, Sydney on the 1st of March 2020.
An easy win against Thailand women would have given South Africa a lot of pleasure but we are sure they are not going to get carried away with it. A win against Thailand is not something that can be considered an achievement at this point in time.
Pakistan poses a much bigger challenge. We have seen a lot of fight from the Pakistani women and South Africa will not be taking them easily.
Lizelle Lee scored a brilliant century in the previous match and will be hoping to continue her good form against the Pakistani lineup as well. All of the South African top-order has now scored runs in the T20 World Cup which is a very positive sign.
Dane van Niekerk, Sune Luus, Chloe Tyron, Mignon du Preez, and Laura Wolvaardt form a formidable bowling attack that outpowers the Pakistani batting quite easily.
Shabnim Ismail and Ayabonga Khaka will be leading the bowling attack for the South Africans. Both of them have been in great form and been able to exert pressure every time they come on to bowl. Shabnim Ismail has the pace to make the batters uncomfortable and she is our pick to be the leading wicket-taker once more.
The South African bowlers will know that Pakistan has a shallow batting lineup and will go hard at the top-order.
Lizelle Lee, Dane van Niekerk, Marizanne Kapp, Mignon du Preez, Laura Wolvaardt, Sune Luus, Chloe Tryon, Trisha Chetty, Shabnim Ismail, Ayabonga Khaka, Nonkululeko Mlaba.
Pakistan has been one of the more pleasant surprises in this tournament. It won the first match against the West Indies very comfortably and then ran England pretty hard as well. The end result of a loss by 42 runs does not show the whole picture.
Pakistan managed to pick up some early wickets and bowled pretty impressively. Diana Baig has been very good with the new ball and is going to pose questions to the South African batters as well.
Aiman Anwar, Nida Dar, Sadia Iqbal, and the all-rounders form a very decent bowling unit.
We have seen the pitches get a bit slower in recent matches and that could play into the hands of the Pakistani women as well.
The real challenge for Pakistan is going to be ensuring its batting is up to the mark. Javeria Khan, Bismah Maroof, and Nida dar are the three batters that need to lead from the front. All three of them have enough experience of playing top-class cricket to be able to soak up the pressure.
We are afraid, there is very little batting talent around these three and if they fall, Pakistan is going to struggle.
Aliya Riaz scored 41 in the previous match to show that there are other batters capable of scoring runs once in a while but that has to be counted on as a bonus and not something that can be depended on.
Muneeba Ali, Javeria Khan, Omaima Sohail, Nida Dar, Aliya Riaz, Iram Javed, Sidra Nawaz, Aiman Anwer, Diana Baig, Syeda Aroob Shah, Anam Amin.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first.

There is next to no chance of rain forecast on match-day and we should be able to get a complete game in quite comfortably. The pitches have started to tire a bit and the spinners are becoming more and more difficult to score off.
That means totals have drifted down towards 120-130 and taking advantage of the powerplay is very important.
Dream11 tips and Dream11 prediction for South Africa women vs Pakistan women T20 World Cup 2020
We think South Africa women should be able to win this match. They have a superior batting lineup and a wicket-taking bowling attack as well. South Africa is also in better form and a better fielding unit.
