A massive win by 10 wickets against Karaikudi Kaalai underscored the dominance that Dindigul Dragons have displayed in TNPL 2019. The bowling did pretty well to keep the total to 158 after a brilliant inning from Srikkanth Anirudha.
The openers then came out and just blasted the opposition to all parts. Dindigul Dragons chased down 158 in 17 overs without the loss of a single wicket. Hari Nishanth remained not out on 81 while N Jagadeesan was unbeaten on 78.
With the pair of them in good form and some other good batsmen to follow, the Dindigul Dragons batting looks in good touch. R Vivek, NS Chaturved, and R Ashwin have all scored runs in TNPL 2019 already and will be looking to add to their tally against Ruby Trichy Warriors.
The bowling attack is also very well rounded thanks to having R Ashwin in the lineup. He, J Kaushik, M Silambarasan, and R Rohit will be backing themselves to keep the Ruby Trichy Warriors under check. The main task ahead of them is going to be to take the wicket of Murali Vijay early.
