SAC vs TSC Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Oct 16, 2022
The Marsh ODI Cup is underway in Australia and this is where you get to see the next generation of talent in Australian cricket. This next match is between South Australia and Tasmania. Interestingly, the previous match for both teams in this competition was also against each other. Tasmania managed to win that match and will be a slight favorite entering this one as well.
SAC vs TSC Team Previews
South Australia Redbacks
The depth in Australian cricket is tremendous and domestic teams often have a number of very strong players with international experience. The batting lineup for South Australia features Alex Carey, Travis Head, and Jake Weatherald. All three aggressive left-handers who can perhaps be targetted with some off-spin but they are also quite different as players.
Jake Lehmann (another leftie) will play an important role in the lower middle order. The team has a lot of power but its batting is a bit one-dimensional.
The bowling is a bit weaker than some of its compatriots as well. Harry Conway and Wes Agar are excellent but the rest of the lineup is nowhere near the same level.
South Australia Redbacks Playing 11
Alex Carey, Benjamin Manenti, Henry Hunt, Jake Carder, Jordan Buckingham, Harry Conway, Jake Weatherald, Jake Lehmann, Nathan McAndrew, Travis Head, Wes Agar.
Tasmania
Two wins from two matches see Tasmania at the top of the table at this early stage in the tournament. Ben McDermott and Caleb Jewell headline a very strong batting lineup. McDermott may have just fallen behind in the race for a first-11 spot in the Australian team but he definitely belongs to the highest levels.
Jordan Silk and Beau Webster bring a lot of innovativeness and power to the middle order. The depth in the batting lineup is perhaps not as good as what South Australia has but so far, McDermott and Jewell have compensated for that with their batting.
Jarrod Freeman, Peter Siddle, and Riley Meredith lead a strong bowling lineup. There is a fair bit of pace and a lot of experience to bank on.

SAC vs TSC Toss Prediction
The Adelaide Oval is a ground where you want to be on the chasing side more often than not. This is why the captain that wins the toss may choose to field first.

Pitch and Conditions
The weather forecast in Adelaide is quite good. Teams should be able to play an uninterrupted contest. The pitch at the Adelaide Oval is reliably good for bating. The short square boundaries make it very hard to defend targets. Spinners have almost no margin of error while playing at this venue.
A run rate of around 6-7 should not be out of the question over a 50 over game.
SAC vs TSC Betting Tips
We are going to back the underdogs in this contest. We think Travis Head and Alex Carey could be the game changes for South Australia. The pair of them play their BBL cricket in Adelaide as well and are just so attuned to the conditions that it has to be an advantage. The difference between the two teams is not much and so we are chasing the odds.
Bet on South Australia to win.
