Sri Lanka will come into this match with a lot of confidence. It has a good mix of youngsters and experienced players that have found success in the T20 format against some excellent teams. Australia has not been a place where Sri Lanka has excelled traditionally. The batters to watch out for will be Pathum Nissanka, Dashun Shanaka, and Bhanuka Rajapaksa. All three of them have done very well for Sri Lanka in the past three years. No batter has scored more runs during that time for Sri Lanka than Nissanka, Shanaka has the most sixes, and no one has a better strike rate than Rajapaksa.
Among the bowlers, Wanindu Hasaranga stands head and shoulders above the rest. He has 59 wickets since the start of 2020 with the next best bowler Dushmanth Chameera with 32 wickets. Sri Lanka's bowling is going to be a concern in this T20 World Cup but against Namibia, they are unlikely to be tested.

The best batter for Namibia since 2020 has been Gerhard Erasmus. He is also the skipper and the mainstay of the batting. JJ Smit and David Wiese are also very crucial to the batting fortunes of Namibia. We like the fact that almost every batter that comes in plays with positive intent and takes the bowling on.
The small straight boundaries at Geelong may favor the hitters but the Sri Lankan spinners will pose a big challenge.
