The Sylhet Strikers were easily one of the best teams during the group stages as they were the first to qualify for the next stage. They ended up finishing at the top of the points table thanks to a better NRR compared to that of the Victorians.
Mashrafe Mortaza has led his team from the front, as he has been in good form with the ball, picking up 12 wickets so far. Supporting him in the pace attack will be Mohammad Amir, who is the leading wicket-taker for the Strikers, as well as Rubel Hossain.
In the spin department, Imad Wasim has been very economical and has also picked up 12 wickets, while Tanzim Hasan Sakib has struggled a bit. Towhid Hridoy and Najmul Hossain Shanto have been superb at the top of the order, while Zakir Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim have been solid in the middle order.
Gulbadin Naib made his debut in the last match but wasn’t quite impressive, while Ryan Burl hasn’t got many chances so far to prove his worth. Overall, the Sylhet Strikers seem to have a good balance between the batsmen and the bowlers.

The Comilla Victorians had a rough start to the season as they lost their first three matches of the tournament. However, they have made a stunning comeback since then, and are on a 9-match winning streak coming into this match, which is just phenomenal.
Mohammad Rizwan and Litton Das have been brilliant as an opening pair and have given their team many good starts in this series. Imrul Kayes and Jaker Ali have done a decent job in the middle order while Khushdil Shah has played the role of a finisher to perfection lower down the order, thanks to his hard-hitting abilities. Khushdil has also been excellent with the ball, picking up 8 wickets.
The team has further bolstered its all-round capabilities by bringing in Sunil Narine and Andre Russell, both of whom are capable of scoring quick runs. In the bowling department, Mustafizur Rahman finally seems to have hit good form as he picked up 3 wickets in the last match.
Mukidul Islam too has taken some wickets but has been quite expensive. Tanvir Islam has been the standout bowler for the Victorians, picking up 14 wickets while also being quite economical. Along with Sunil Narine, he will is likely to play an important role in this match.
