The Warriors too didn’t have the best of starts to the season, losing each of their first 3 matches. However, they did manage to turn things around later on and won the next 2 games. Their most recent match was however abandoned due to rain.

After a sedate start, Tom Kohler Cadmore has unleashed his true potential and is the leading scorer for the Warriors. Scoring a half-century and a superb century, Cadmore has scored an aggregate of 213 runs at a strike rate of 167.71.

He has received good support from Joe Denly and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, both of whom have been pretty consistent. The team also has other big hitters like Mohammad Nabi and Evin Lewis but they are yet to play to their full potential. The bowling attack is heavily reliant on seam bowling. Naveen ul-Haq and Junaid Siddique have delivered the goods, picking up 9 wickets a piece.

However, the spin duo of Mohammad Nabi and Noor Ahmed are yet to make an impact on the proceedings. 

Abu Dhabi Knight Riders

The Abu Dhabi Knight Riders had opted to go with a mixture of experienced and young players for this inaugural season of the International League T20 but that strategy has failed to get the desired results till now for the management.

The team has lost each of its 5 opening matches while its most recent match, scheduled against the Gulf Giants, was washed out due to rains. As a result, the Knight Riders have a single point in their kitty and are at the bottom of the points table. Led by Sunil Narine, the Knight Riders have some of the biggest hitters in T20 cricket, including Colin Ingram, Brandon King, and Paul Stirling.

But the players have failed to perform as a unit. Andre Russell is the only player who has contributed consistently with both, the bat as well as the ball. Narine is the leading wicket-taker with 5 wickets in as many outings but he will need support from the likes of Akeal Hosein, Lahiru Kumara, and Zawar Farid going forward.
