TKR has won two out of the six matches it has played and finds itself in the fourth spot in the CPL 2022 standings. That is enough for it to qualify for the playoffs but it would certainly want to win a few more games and give itself some margin.

The Jamaica Tallawahs have won four out of the seven matches they have played and are in second place on the points table. Despite being in better form and having better results, the Jamaica Tallawahs are the clear underdogs at all the leading cricket betting sites.

Elevating Nicholas Pooran to the top of the order has been a pretty good move and something we could see for the West Indies in the future as well. He has been able to get TKR off to good starts and it was encouraging to see Munro, Siefert, Narine, and Pollard get some runs as well.

The lack of runs from the bat of Andre Russell remains a big concern, though.

We are still not totally convinced that TKR is using the vast resources at its disposal efficiently but it is moving in the right direction.

Sunil Narine continues to dominate the bowling effort for TKR. He has been incredibly economical and is also picking wickets in most matches. Akeal Hosein, Jayden Seales, and Ravi Rampaul provide good support to him but they are not the most consistent.

It has Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim in prime form, both of whom are picking wickets, keeping the runs down, and performing under pressure regularly.

With Chris Green and Migael Pretorius also bowling well, it is never easy to score runs against the Tallawahs.

We like how this bowling lineup matches up to the TKR batting.

Even the batting unit for the Tallawahs is quite strong. Brandon King and Rovman Powell are the leading scorers but Raymon Riefer, Amir Jangoo, Shamarh Brooks, and Fabian Allen are not to be taken lightly. There is more than enough batting firepower in this lineup to give TKR a tough time.
