The Trinbago Knight Riders have won 8 out of 8 matches in CPL T20 so far and only once have they come close to losing a match. They are guaranteed to finish at the top of the table and not really going to gain anything out of this match.
They St. Lucia Zouks have five wins from the eight matches they have played and are also assured a place in the CPL semi-finals. They are in third place right now and are unlikely to fall down to fourth in any event but would like to make sure by winning at least one more of their remaining matches.
Will TKR continue to rest some of its leading players? Will the Zouks want to try something different ahead of the knockouts?
TKR vs SLZ CPL T20 2020 is going to be played at the Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad on the 5th of September 2020.
Lendl Simmons almost always plays one inning that shows just how much of a force he can be in this format. He made 96 from 63 deliveries and scored 6 sixes as well. Up until now, Simmons has been in poor touch but will now want to take advantage of this return to form.
It is highly possible that TKR will continue to rest some of its leading players for this match as well. They have one more match after this where they can return to pick their best eleven.
Kieron Pollard is probably not going to play this match but the TKR batting is still very strong.
Tim Siefert, Colin Munro, Darren Bravo, and Sikandar Raza should be able to get enough runs against most teams.
Among the bowlers, Sikandar Raza took three wickets and Pravin tambe bowled a brilliant spell to keep the runs down. With Khary Pierre and Akeal Hosein also bowling well, TKR has more depth in its squad than any other side.
That being said, we don't think they can take the Zouks for granted. If TKR sits out too many of its best players and takes liberty with the lineup then they could be headed for their first loss.
Tim Seifert, LMP Simmons, Tion Webster, Darren Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, Sikandar Raza, Akeal Hosein, Fawad Ahmed, Jayden Seales, Khary Pierre.
The St. Lucia Zouks lost their previous match to the Guyana Amazon Warriors pretty convincingly. It was not a performance that they would be proud of and would love to get back to winning ways.
We are not sure if the Zouks have the kind of squad that allows them the freedom to rotate their players. They may be better served by continuing to play their best possible eleven.
The Zouks have a weak batting lineup that has underperformed. Rakheem Cornwall played a good hand in the previous match and looked to be getting in touch but he is still due a big score. Andre Fletcher, Kavem Hodge, Mohammad Nabi, and Najibullah don’t quite form a great batting lineup.
They have potential, though, and it just takes one good inning to turn the match in a T20 international.
The St. Lucia Zouks bowling has been pretty good in the series so far. They have the bowling to thank for most of the matches that they have won. Kesrick Williams, Scott Kuggeleijn, Mohammad Nabi, and Javelle Glenn have all been able to put in a match-winning performance.
Chemar Holder did not have a good game in the previous match but we think the bowling attack could surprise TKR this time around.
ADS Fletcher, Leniko Boucher, N Zadran, Kimani Melius, DJG Sammy, Mark Deyal, Mohammad Nabi, Roston Chase, KOK Williams, Scott Kuggeleijn, Zahir Khan.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to want to field first because of all the rain around. DLS calculations always tend to favor the team batting second.

The weather is our biggest concern in this match. There is a lot of rain in Trinidad and it typically falls during the time when the first match is going to be played. The first match yesterday was washed out and we could have another rain-delay or a washout here as well.
If we do get to play, the pitch is going to be slow and helpful to the spinners. Run-scoring is going to be difficult making a total of around 140 very competitive.
Dream11 team and Dream11 tips for TKR vs SLZ CPl T20 2020
We think that this is a match where backing the underdog may be the way to go. The St. Lucia Zouks have been quite good in CPL T20 and their batting is bound to come good at one time or the other. Also, TKR has no motivation to play its best team and is likely to experiment.
Bet on the St. Lucia Zouks to win.
Our Favorite Bets
Highest 1st 6 overs - St. Lucia Zouks ($2.10)
We are all in on the Zouks in this match. They hav Rakheem Cornwall and Andre Fletcher opening the inning. They are both very aggressive batsmen that can easily get plenty of runs in the powerplay. TKR is likely to be without Sunil Narine and Lendl Simmons is not the brightest of starters either.
Colin Munro Total Runs - Under 22.5 ($1.83)
The match-up of Colin Munro against Mohammad Nabi is something that could be an interesting one to watch. We think Munro is vulnerable early in the inning and nabi might just be the perfect player to exploit his weakness against spin.
This is a good bet to make against a player who is susceptible to spin on pitches that are helpful to the slower bowlers.
Total Ducks in the Match - Over 1.5 ($2.75)
This is a bet that has paid us handsomely in this tournament. The standard of batting has been quite poor and it is not uncommon to see batsmen fall in clumps. Two ducks in the entire match is something we can always see happening. Take advantage and get nearly 3x your stake!
