Every team in the Momentum ODI Cup 2020 has just a couple of matches left and this is the time to get into top gear. The Titans are locked in a tight battle for the final semi-final place with the Knights. The other team in this contest, the Cape Cobras, has already been knocked out of contention, though, and so does not have much to play for.
The Cape Cobras have won two matches from their eight, just one less than the Titans, but the difference in points is a lot more due to a lack of bonus points.
The Titans would be targeting this match as a win to try and open up some distance between itself and the Knights.
Titans vs Cape Cobras Momentum ODI Cup 2020 is going to be played at WIllowmoore Park, Benoni on the `11th of March 2020.
The Titans bowled very well in their previous match against the Lions to set up a confident win. Alfred Mothoa picked up three wickets and Imran Manack picked up two to keep the Lions to just over 200 runs.
Bowling has been a big problem for the Titans this season and this is why the previous match would have been very encouraging for the team. The Titans have one of the most star-studded batting lineups in the entire tournament and would back themselves to score the required runs in most situations.
Aiden Markram has rediscovered his touch and scored another century in the previous match. Not just the Titans but every single cricket fan in South Africa would be looking at Aiden Markram and hoping to see him back at his best to make a comeback into the national side.
With Tony de Zorzi, Dean Elgar, Grant Thomson, and Farhaan Behardien all in the team as well, the Titans have more than enough batting depth to get past the Cape Cobras. Hopefully, their bowling is going to continue to stay effective as well.

Being knocked out of the running for a semi-final spot can be quite demoralizing and make it difficult for the players to play at their best. Some promising performances from players like Pieter Malan, Zubayr Hamza, and others have not been able to lift the Cape Cobras out of their rut this season.
A lack of consistency in the batting and a bowling attack that is not too special have combined to make the Cape Cobras pretty beatable. Maybe now that the pressure is off someone like Zubayr Hamza can play freely and showcase the range of his strokes.
He is also in the running for a national call-up and must keep putting pressure on the incumbent batsmen by scoring tons of runs.
The Cape Cobras must hope for some individual brilliance to be able to get the runs needed to challenge the strong Titans batting.
Dane Piedt, Ferisco Adams, and Tsepo Ndwandwa are the three bowlers that will be tasked with trying to stop the Titans batting from scoring quickly against them. The task is going to be a tough one but we have these bowlers stand up to tough challenges in this edition of the tournament already.

The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first.

The weather forecast for Benoni is pretty good and we should be able to get a full match in without any interruptions. The pitch is expected to be good for batting but a little slower than what we saw in earlier matches.
The slower bowlers are going to become more difficult to score off and the fast-bowlers will utilize more cutters moving forward. Scored are going to dip below 300 and anything above 250 is going to be pretty difficult to chase down.
Dream11 tips and dream11 prediction for Titans vs Cape Cobras Momentum ODI Cup 2020
We think the Titans are going to be able to win this match because of the strength of their batting. The form of batsmen like Aiden Markram and Dean Elgar gives it a big advantage. The bowling of both the teams is not very strong and should be able to cancel each other out.
Bet on the Titans to win.
