WAR vs TTN Match Prediction - Apr 22, 2019

A win for both Warriors and Titans in their respective matches on Saturday in the ongoing CSA T20 Challenge opened up the points table beautifully. Warriors demolished Dolphins, thanks to a brilliant batting effort whereas Warriors thumped Cape Cobras in through an all-around performance. The two teams will now meet each other on 22nd April at Buffalo Park in a bid to strengthen their respective positions in the top half of the points table. With both sides doing well and the race to the playoffs expected to get tighter hereon, this promises to be a mouth-watering contest.

WAR vs TTN Team Previews

Marco Marias once again played an instrumental role for the Warriors as his flamboyant fifty helped Warriors post a total which paved a way for their all-important win. With that win, Warriors total tally rose to 14 points and while they are still at the third spot, they seem to be in a pretty good position to qualify for the playoffs from here.

Warriors haven't had too many opportunities to go full-berserk so far in the tournament due to rain playing spoilsport on three occasions, but they've looked particularly good in all the outings they've had thus far. Apart from Marco Marais, who was again the chief architect of their last win, other players have contributed well as well.

Gihan Cloete has helped them with quickfire starts and will be looking to get a big one in the upcoming encounter. Apart from Marais, the likes of Sisanda Magala and Lutho Sipamla have done exceedingly well with the ball so far. They also have the services of JJ Smuts, who although hasn't been at his best in the shortest version of the game, but is well and truly capable to turn it around when it matters.

Languishing at the bottom half of the table prior to their last encounter, Titans upped their game and dismissed Dolphins with a brilliant batting effort. Currently, they are at the fourth position in the points table, right behind the Warriors, with 13 points to their name.

Just like the Warriors, the Titans, too, are expected to field the same eleven which they fielded against the Dolphins. That despite the fact that their bowling isn't really performing to the standards they want it to and their batsmen have to take extra responsibility to cover the void.

Theunis de Bruyn has so far been excellent in the tournament so far and he along with de Zorzi, Jonathan Vandiar, Henry Davids, and Farhaan Behardien form arguably the most dangerous batting lineup of the competition. They have Junior Dala in their bowling attack, but due to the lack of support from the other end, their bowling, left right and center, on the whole, has been ordinary at best.

WAR vs TTN Betting Tips

Considering the context, it is an as important match as it can get as far as the qualification to the playoffs is concerned. The winner here will rise back into the top-three whereas there is a strong chance that the losing side will slide back into the bottom two if the other results do not go their way. With batting doing exceedingly well and a reasonably good-on-paper bowling attack, we think that Titans are firm favorites to emerge on top in the upcoming encounter.
