While many will not be surprised by the result of the first ODI between West Indies and Australia, the quantum of the margin of win that Australia managed to get over West Indies was certainly surprising and remarkable. It will be safe to say that the hosts were caught off-guard against a hungry Aussie side and will now be looking to bounce back into the series.
We expect some changes in the West Indies side for the second match of the series. The 2nd ODI between West Indies and Australia is set to be played on 22nd July 2021 at Kensington Oval, Barbados.
Coming into the ODI series, West Indies would have been brimming with confidence and had the momentum. However, the loss in the first match of the series has pretty much handed them a reality check as they lost the match by a massive margin of over a hundred runs. Going into the second match of the series, West Indies have a huge task at their hands and they are certainly capable of doing it.
Shai Hope, Evin Lewis, Darren Bravo, Jason Mohammed, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard, Jason Holder, Alzarri Joseph, Hayden Walsh, Akeal Hosein, Sheldon Cottrell.
Australia haven't really played much cricket in recent times and they'll be taking this series against West Indies as a preparatory series for the ICC Cricket World Cup that is to be played later this year. Even though they managed to register a win in the first match, they do have some problems that they will want to address as early as possible in the series.
Going into the second match, the Aussies will be a more confident team than they were when they arrived in West Indies. They showed the depth they have in their batting unit along with the sharpness their bowling attack possesses. They will need to be mindful of their weaknesses, though. If they can do that and their top-order manages to do better, Australia will be in business.
Ben McDermott, Josh Philippe, Mitchell Marsh, Moises Henriques, Alex Carey, AJ Turner, Matthew Wade, Mitchell Starc, Riley Meredith, Adam Zampa, JR Hazlewood.

While Australia did a terrific job in the first match, it is difficult to neglect the firepower that the hosts have. We expect West Indies to bounce back after producing a lackluster performance. Comparing the two sides on all aspects and the odds on offer, of course, we would be placing our bets on a West Indies win here.
