West Indies vs India 1st T20 is about to get underway as India begins its tour of the West Indies. Of course, this match is not going to be played in the West Indies but in Lauderhill Florida, a market that the West Indies has invested in quite a bit over the last few years.
Every T20 match from here on in is going to be important. There is a World T20 around the corner in 2020 to be held in Australia and then another one in 2021 to be held in India. West Indies is the current T20 World Cup champion while India is one of the highest-ranked teams around as well.
There are going to be some new faces that will get a run in the Indian side but most of the big boys have turned up for this series. The West Indies has also re-integrated most of its T20 stars into the national side and is going to be very hard to beat.
West Indies vs India 1st T20 is going to be played at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida.
The West Indies has brought its full-strength side for the T20 series against India as it also begins the process of assembling its squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. The return of Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine to the side is a huge plus and a welcome sight for fans around the world.
Sunil Narine has continued to be effective with the ball even after remodeling his action while Kieron Pollard has improved his batting to be a real threat to India in this series.
We expect Evin Lewis to open the batting with John Campbell followed by Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite, Keemo Paul, Sunil Narine, Oshane Thomas, and Sheldon Cottrell.
This is a T20 lineup that is filled with power and batting right down to number 9. In fact, one of the problems for the West Indies in the past has been being able to utilize the abundance of talent at its disposal.
Some out of the box thinking and a lot of fluidity in the batting order is going to help it in the long run. Andre Russell is returning from an injury but he has playing in the Gt20 Canada so he should be available for the first game.
The bowling attack for the West Indies is good without being great. Sunil Narine is not the same threat he was although he is still a good bowler. Sheldon Cottrell and Oshane Thomas can be taken for runs, Carlos Brathwaite is inconsistent with the ball, and Andre Russell’s body could break down at any time. Keemo Paul had a lot of success in the IPL and will want to build on that success also.
We like the direction West Indies cricket has been taking for the last several months and the T20 format is definitely one where it shines the brightest.
John Campbell, Evin Lewis, Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, Kieron Pollard, Rovman Powell, Carlos Brathwaite, SP Narine, Keemo Paul, Sheldon Cottrell, Oshane Thomas.
India has come to this series against the West Indies with a full-strength side as well. There are plenty of spots up for grabs, though, and we think selection is going to be a big question as we move forward. Perhaps the only two places that are set in stone right now are of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Will Shikhar Dhawan get his place back at the opening slot or will Lokesh Rahul keep that slot? We really hope that India does not take the easy way out and give Lokesh Rahul the number four slot because they have Shreyas Iyer and Manish Pandey in the side as well.
With Rishab Pant likely to bat at 5, we think Manish Pandey may have to bat at 6 if he makes the team at all.
The fast bowling options for this series are pretty varied. India has Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, Navdeep Saini, and Deepak Chahar to choose from. With no Hardik Pandya in the side, three out of those four should play.
That leaves two spots to fill from Ravindra Jadeja, Krunal Pandya, Rahul Chahar, and Washington Sundar.
Will India want to fortify its batting by including both Jadeja and Pandya or maybe go for the leg-spinner Rahul Chahar? Washington Sundar is a completely different kind of spinner from the other three and he can bat quite well also.
We expect Ravindra Jadeja and Krunal Pandya to start the series with some changes being made along the way.
This is an Indian side that is in transition. The top-order batting remains very good but the middle order is a mess. The bowling also has some very good individual parts to work with but which of them will form the best combined unit is not yet known.
Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, V Kohli, Manish Pandey, RR Pant, Krunal Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Washington Sundar, Khaleel Ahmed, NA Saini.

West Indies vs India 1st T20 2019 is going to be played at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida. The weather forecast for the match day is not very good. There is a 30% chance of thunderstorms predicted on match day. Hopefully, the rain will stay away and allow a full game to be played.
The pitch at Lauderhill is usually good for batting. There were plenty of big scores hit here the last time West Indies and India played each other. The small boundaries also make defending a total very difficult.
Dream11 prediction for West Indies vs India 1st T20 match is going to be based on the assumption that we will get a full T20 match without any rain. Wicketkeeper: We have picked Nicholas Pooran and Rishab Pant for the Dream11 team from this category. They are both very good strikers of the cricket ball and should bat relatively high up in the order.
Batsmen: We have selected Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard, Shimron Hetmyer, and Shreyas Iyer for this match. Kohli and Sharma could open together or bat in the top-3 and control the entire game from there. Kieron Pollard is a hugely improved player and the one we are looking forward to seeing most from the West Indies. Hetmyer and Iyer are also young players out to prove a point.
All-rounders: Andre Russel. The name is enough. He is a beast when it comes to T20 cricket and has plenty of experience playing against the Indian bowlers thanks to the IPL.
Bowlers: Khaleel Ahmed, Deepak Chahar, and Keemo Paul are the three bowlers we have selected for this match. Khaleel was picking up wickets very regularly in the IPL, as was Deepak Chahar, while Keemo Paul can be surprisingly effective as well.
Captain and Vice-Captain: We have selected Kieron Pollard as the captain and Rohit Sharma as the vice-captain for our Dream11 Picks West Indies vs India 1st t20 2019.

These are two very strong sides with different kinds of strengths. West Indies has a better T20 side because of a deeper batting lineup and more power being available but India has some of the best players in the world like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
We think the West Indies is going to be hard to stop in this format.
